From the welcoming staff to the very spacious room, with comfortable beds and well-appointed bathroom, to the exceptionally good buffet breakfast the following morning, we had a great night's stay at Hotel Cavalieri. We were able to park directly in front of the hotel, although we were also offered underground parking space. The receptionist tried her very best to find us a restaurant for dinner (it was apparently a very busy weekend in Bra) and provided a list of extra numbers to call, just in case. The only 'but': Hotel Cavalieri is a little outside town, meaning there's a 15-minute walk to the centre, but has the advantage of a being set among parks (great when you travel with a dog) and, from one façade (sadly not ours...), has excellent views of the Alps.

Our 4 night stay at Agriturismo Cascina Monchiero exceeded our expectations. The hosts were superb making recommendations & booking on our behalf activities, restaurants & places to see. No request was too difficult. Francesca & Eugenio were very knowledgeable about the region & were very kind with their time to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay an experience to remember. The new swimming pool & the large garden terrace were perfect places to relax & soak in the beautiful country surroundings. The breakfast was lovely with choice of cereals, bacon & eggs, fruit & delicious home made tartes & biscuits. We were able to chose exceptional wines for relaxing on the terrace & the hosts didn't mind us bringing some fresh produce to dine on the terrace. One of the highlights of our stay at Bra was the eBike Tour that the hosts organised for us using the brand new bikes from https://www.roeroebike.com/. We also enjoyed the history of the Cascina with incredible story of how the hosts completely rebuilt the property to what it is today over 10 years. The presentation & authenticity of Cascina Monchiero speaks for themselves.

    Went to Bra on a hockey trip during August which is when a lot of shops and restaurants are closed so struggled to find authentic cuisine. This is not a tourist town but one of the biggest in the area. You will need a car to see more of this lovely region.

    Breakfast was served in the living area with antique furniture and beautiful views. Homemade cakes, croissants, fruit, yoghurt and freshly brewed coffee in a great table setting. The owner made and served a delicious omelette. It's a historic building with stairs, but the owner helped us carry all our heavy suitcases. It was a convenient location in the center of the city, close to Bra station. He also arranged restaurant reservations for us. It was a valuable stay where I could experience living in an apartment in a historic building.

    The hotel has a great location if you are travelling by car and there are a lot of free parking places in front of it. Rooms are spatious and everything is clean. Breakfast is good and coffee perfect! This hotel is a perfect spot for a short stay, or just to have a good night sleep on the long journey as we had. Torino is not not far, so it is a good base for exploring this part of Italy.

    The host is a wonderful person, very kind to us. She gave us some very good tips on where to eat in Bra. The place itself is very beautiful, very well decorated, and the terrace is very pleasant to hang out on or have a very nice breakfast. The property is closed, so if you have a little furry friend like we did, they can roam around freely.

    We had a warm welcome with Carlo and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the house, which has a lovely situation on the outskirts of Bra. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. We would like to return in the summer months when the pool is open. In Bra itself we ate in 3 different restaurants and all served us delicious fare.
