We spent two weeks in Italy, sleeping in areas such as Rome, Naples, the Amalfi Coast and finally Sardinia. We can confirm that our stay in Al Veccio was by far the best for the following main reasons: Excellent location, about 50 minutes by car from the Costa Smeralda and Olbia airport. It is about 1 hour away from Alghero. The accommodation is located in a very picturesque village, with very friendly and hospitable people, which is a contrast to the more touristy areas such as the Costa Smeralda. Regarding the accommodation, the room was very spacious and very clean and the bathroom was large and very functional. The breakfast was the best of all the accommodations in Italy, with bread, cappuccinos, fruit, natural yogurt and cereals. Final it is mandatory to mention the great sympathy and availability of the owner, who made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this accommodation in Sardinia.

Not just nice people - they were so so kind. Really enjoyed my stay with this family. Nothing too much of an effort. Room (single) was small but more than what I expected for the price they charged. Great location. Book this place! It really comes highly recommended. Assisted me with laundry at such a reasonable fee. Wish I could give them more than 10. Best place I stayed in my amazing Sardinian experience.
