The staff communicated very effectively as we came in after hours, having spent all day at the Cala Goloritze. It was a very happy discovery to find that Baunei was, in fact, one of the Blue Zone villages in Sardinia where Dan Buettner's series was filmed. The customer service was amazing, and the view from our Balcony and from Breakfast was incredible.

Perfect location with an amazing view and sophisticated interior design that brings the best experience for those who are looking for a nice quiet place after the day activities around the area and also wants to feel the authentic sardenian atmosphere of the local village. Angelo was great, met us at the property and give some useful information. Top top top. Highly recommend it!

The house was very warm and cozy, and the host was very carrying. Best brekfast we had all trip - host prepares it herself and we also had an opportunity to try fresh goats milk. We loved to have this authentic experience. Host also provided us some tips of what to see in the area and where to dine.

The Via Roma Charming Rooms was an incredible experience. One comes into a whole vintage experience, where every little detail has been thought of. It has the charm of vintage but the newness for it to be more than comfortable. The hosts were absolutely excellent and are responsive to every demand and at the same time the access to the building is so simple and autonomous, it's the perfect balance. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The best italian coffee in the mornings with little biscuits, beautiful view from the city that is perched high on the mountain, extremely kind staff and absolutely beautiful rooms and common areas.

    Is a small place just above the sea, 16 minutes by car to the harbour. Beautiful view to the valey and to the sea, not crowded, not very touristy. We loved it. If you want to visit Baunei coast I think is closer if you take a boat from Cala Gonone.

    Baunei was a beautiful town which exceeded expectations.

    Baunei was a beautiful town which exceeded expectations. It is brilliantly located 15/20 mins away from stunning rocky or sandy beaches. There are 2 little supermarkets which do a roaring trade and some lovely restaurants as well as a very popular gelateria which is open until 11ish! Away from the coast the road beyond Baunei winds through some amazing and dramatic scenery.

    Baunei is a beautiful historical village built on the side of a mountain. The views are amazing. Great restaurants and gelato. Fun place to visit for a few nights. We also visited Cala Goloritze while staying in Baunei. A beautiful hike to paradise. The hike out is difficult during the hot temperatures.

    We loved Baunei.

    We loved Baunei. Especially the village itself up in the mountains. Close knit community. Friendly locals and gorgeous mountain views. We had expected to be in closer proximity to the Coastline. But Baunei is a hill top village.

    This small village is just recently explored by tourists, there are good restaurants and bars, beautiful panorama. Houses partly rebuilt and partly in bad, abandoned conditions. It is a perfect place for visiting Supramonte and its beaches.

    We loved the tasteful decor, the calm atmosphere, the sunny terrace, the good coffee, the clean and comfortable beds. We were especially grateful for Angelo's recommendations of eateries and beaches which made our stay even better. For Baunei, I don't think you will find a better place to stay.
