It was perfect for our last short night before dropping off our rental car. Close to the drop off place for rental cars and the airport, good breakfast from 4 am, quiet, dining facilities within walking distance, free parking in front of the hotel, self check-in. We would use it again.

Room was spacious and well-equipped. People at the reception were the best, stepping in front of me to get the door. When I asked for a wake-up call, it was even asked if they could bang at my door in case of no answer! Restaurant felt warm, which is rare at airport hotels. Location was perfect for an early flight.

Everything! The quality of Konvin Hotel was definitely a big factor in the overall experience of our trip. Easy ride from the airport (we rented a car), located near major roadways. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The restaurant had a great selection of food and drinks. The bar in the lobby is home to daily happy hour specials. In the lobby, a large variety of food and drinks are available for sale 24 hours a day. As a bonus, there is a little corner store that recently opened next to the hotel that sells basic goods, coffee, some fresh fruits and veggies, and houses a little bistro with a nice wine selection.

Vogar is obviously just a bedroom community for Reykjavik...

Vogar is obviously just a bedroom community for Reykjavik with little there except a hotel, a motel, and a single uninteresting restaurant. It is convenient to the airport, the Blue Lagoon, and an excellent lava tube attraction. It is also close to the recent volcano eruption should you want to see than. The volcano was sleeping when we visited. It is far out of the path of the lava flow so it is quite safe.

It was close to airport.

It was close to airport. Room was overpriced for the accommodation. Breakfast we had to pay for but wish we would have just stopped at a gas station instead. The guy wears a chef jacket but only thing that was cooked was boiled eggs. Price for breakfast was too costly for what you get.

We had booked the quadruple room with 4 single beds and the room was nice. It had a sofa and 2 tables in addition to the beds. There were 2 shared bathrooms and were well maintained. Also they had a microwave and a kettle that was kept in the shared space. We didn't had the kitchen but there's a Korean restaurant at 100m from the hotel that provides pizza and chicken wings. Mostly luckily we were able to see the live volcanic activities after a 10 mins drive towards blue lagoon.

Friendly staff, enough parking, close to the airport and the blue lagoon and not to far from Reykjavik. Our flight arrived very late, we stayed here as all the airport hotels were full. Next day we continues to the blue lagoon and to do the golden circle.

The hotel is very near to the airport. It was very clean. The hot pot was great, but you have to pay for it (bath robe included).
