Rooms are fantastic overlooking the ocean. Clean and spacious rooms. The view from the room is breathtaking. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good. There is common kitchen with all the amenities to cook your own food and have your meals. There are books and board games and table tennis that the kids loved.

Vik is a small town on the coast mostly supporting the tourist industry. Like most of Iceland, beautiful scenery and views all around. Great launching point to national parks and stay over if going east or west.

We came out to hike a glacier, see a few waterfalls, walk the beaches and then go to Westman Islands. We did all of this in 24 hours and this was not nearly enough. Really needed more time in each place and should have stayed an extra night to go explore a little further east!!

I stayed there for two nights when one would’ve more than sufficed. Other than walking on the beach or hiking up to the church, there really wasn’t much to do there except go to expensive restaurants. They did have a nice big grocery store there that was in a small complex that included the Icewear store.(the Icelandic clothing line)

We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the black sand beaches, and the dramatic coastal views. One small local place serving soups was absolutely wonderful — the perfect stop for a warm, delicious meal after a windy day. The town is small but cozy, with everything you need — a few restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores. It’s a great base for exploring nearby sights like Reynisfjara Beach and Dyrhólaey. Overall, Vík is a great stop for travelers looking for unique landscapes and a calm, authentic Icelandic vibe. Highly recommended!

Super stylish property just outside Vik on the main South coast road, near the black sand beach/needles. Great value for money as long as you don't mind sharing (in fact we got our own room as the hotel was so quiet). Kitchen facilities are excellent (self-catering in Iceland saves you a LOT of money). Plenty of hot water and very clean. Very highly recommended.

Perfect accomodation located just a few minutes drive from Vik town centre. The rooms were clean and modern with a very nice design and included all of the amenities needed for a short stay while driving through iceland. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, plenty of options including those with dietary requirements.
