Location is spectacular.
Location is spectacular. It is in the countryside, so you need a car. Cabin is fairly new and well appointed. Cabin was clean, but not superbly clean. Varanda around the cabin was not clean. I did not figure out how to use the door lock, but there was no need to look the door! I also had trouble using the stove top. I guess some instructions would help. The accomodation is beautiful, self contained, had everything we needed. Vik is not too far away by car to purchase food & provisions, also warm clothing if needed. Vestri Petursey is close to the Black Sand Beach, & also beautiful waterfalls. Car parking was right beside our cabin so it was easy to unload & reload the car. There was ramp access to the cabin so easy entry with our luggage. I can't speak highly enough of this accomodation, it was just beautiful.
