Pretty new remodeled hotel right at the port! Great food and bar. Nice stuff. Went there with 3 kids and they had super fun in the nearby swimming pool. Spacious rooms and all clean

I traveled to Þingeyri for a trail run. Arrived quite late but the staff was veru welcoming. The Room was small but cosy. Good value for money

This is a hidden gem in heart of Flateyri. We spent there a romantic New Years Eve and we were more than amazed by this beautful experience. It is a family run bookstore/accommodation business for decades with nicely preserved antique interior. Host gave us a quick tour in the building. Kitchen was full of kitchenware, spices, sweets and food for breakfast. Lots of books, boardgames, guitar to play and so on. This is one of 2 best places in Vestfirdir for a romantic stay.

Great small houses for our group, easy to connect with each other and share meals or to have quiet time apart from each other. Hosts were responsive and helpful. The property was beautiful, clean, lovely bathroom/showers with delicious soaps, very pleasant dining room/kitchen area and excellent high speed wifi. Stephanie was a delightful and knowledgeable host who gave us excellent suggestions for exploring the area.

The guesthouse is in a pleasant harbour side location. It has been tastefully furnished and is a good blend of contemporary and traditional. There are nice areas for relaxing, fresh coffee on tap and a small kitchen area if you want to 'do it yourself'. There is however a nice, reasonably priced restaurant next door. Toilets and showers are modern and clean with a good selection of toiletries. Our room had a lovely view over the harbour. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice including home made cakes which were different on the two days we stayed.
