We love that the apartments were 7km away from Main Road 1. You enter a vast lava rock field you can feel the loneliness of Iceland and realize you really are in the Polar Artic Circle!! This was an excellent hotel, the room was spacious and the view was lovely. We ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the burger and soup. The breakfast choice was varied and plenty of it. The staff were most helpful when I asked for hot water for my flask. Overall this Hotel did exceed my expectations. Highly recommended.
