We had the loveliest stay, from the cosy room, to the kitchen area, to the lovely decor touches, the sheep, the amazing breakfast, the crazy beautiful views and the lovely hosts. The rooms are fairly new, and spacious! Very comfy wool blakets and chairs and good wifi, it was actually nice to spend our evenings in the room after a long day of driving and hiking around. The dinner and breakfasts were ok, but not outstanding to write about.

The house is warm and cozy. The view is just spectacular and the room is plenty of window for you to enjoy it! The kitchen and the bathrooms have all the comforts that you need. To arrive there is a little off-road to do, but it is well maintained and we had no problem.

Located by the harbour in Höfn, this property is surrounded by Hornafjördur’s outdoor activity possibilities. Guests can enjoy mountaineering, snowmobile glacier trips and ice climbing in the area.

I liked everything about this hotel: location, view from the window, atmosphere. I was surpirised, that there was big flat TV in the room, though it was not on booking.com photos and was not mentioned in room ameneties. I liked a lot lime shower gel :)

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean. And breakfast was plentiful! Also, great location and just a beautiful spot overall.

Great place, ideally located near the glacier lake. Rooms are simple but with a lot of space and well maintained. A good stop for campers looking for a rest night in a cozy hotel. Restaurant was great!

Beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting with a view of the nearby glacier if the weather is clear. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and our service was excellent. This was the only Fosshotel our group stayed at while in Iceland as they were generally more pricey than our other accommodations, but we thought it was well worth it!
