Isabelle and Marat are exemplary hosts and couldn’t have been more charming. The suite itself was exceptional in design and comfort and a great deal of thought had gone into the detail - beautiful linens and robes, well equipped kitchen and my favourite Skandinavisk toiletries. After some quite energetic salmon fishing it was wonderful to wind down at this wonderful suite, easing tired limbs in the sauna (with exceptional views) and falling into the most comfortable bed to dream about the lax! The Cabin is spacious, fully equipped, clean with a very comfortable bed. The possibility to wash clothes and cook a nice meal. The big tv in the bedroom with Apple TV was a nice addition. Quiet surroundings and a small waterfall nearby.

A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

Amazing location. Just 2.5 hours from Reykjavík, easily accessible with good roads and fast free Wifi in the rooms. Remote hotel nestled in a beautiful mountain range. Perfect for star gazing or spotting the Aurora with literally no light pollution. Swimming pool heated from the hot spring water. As is the natural plunge pool situated above the hotel and below an icy waterfall. Amazing experience. Should really be a 4 or 5 star hotel with all it's facilities, but the main stars are definitely the owners. Great hospitality, both were very kind and friendly.

The host is super friendly. The location is a bit out of the way, but the mountain views are amazing and the place is very peaceful. There are also two cute little lambs on the farm, though you can't get too close. Overall, it's a great spot to relax. Highly recommend!

- If you're looking to stay and share moments with a true icelandic family, don't hesitate to book here! We had some great discussions at the breakfast (which was pretty basic but enough). - The house is located on a farm full of sheep which was nice to look at, at all times - The bathroom was clean - The kitchen is very well equipped with everything u might need to heat meals or cook them - The shared space was good (although we were the only ones there that night, so we kind of enjoyed the whole house for ourserlves)

Everything, stunning location with a wide view over the valley, no light pollution (perfect to see Northern Lights). We stayed in the old house(should I say retro vintage?), luckily there were no other guests so we had it for ourselves😎. Beautifully arranged and spotless clean, rooms and bathroom are very modern, the rain shower was a high point, after driving 450km. Kitchen has everything we needed to prepare a great breakfast (it was my birthday), including free coffee and other items. Furniture brought us to another time in the past. We would definitely stay again
