We had a lovely stay at Laekjaborgir Guesthouse! Our tiny, but very cozy studio apartment had everything we needed. It was our best stay in Iceland so far :)

Highly recommended for a relaxing and surprisingly luxurious feel. The staff is professional, invaluable, and warm. We stayed in a newly refurbished room on the 2nd floor, featuring an elegant interior, which provided great relaxation and a fantastic view. Very nice hotel - the rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable, there was a kettle and some cups in the rooms to make a tea or coffee. What we liked the most was breakfast - it was really good, it was served as a buffet where everyone could find something for himself. And it's located in a very nice neighbourhood with nice views :)
