We absolutely loved it here. The rooms are well appointed and beautifully decorated. The AC was quiet, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable with very clean sheets. The planting around the hotel is also really thoughtful so your short walk to breakfast is lined with fresh blooms and well maintained greenery despite being so close to a road. There are a few other restaurants and a supermarket nearby too, we wish we’d had more time here as it was a great location

After active travelling I was looking for some relaxation time. And for that i found the perfect place. It's a bit off the main touristic area of Varkala and that's definitely nice. Really close to small calm beaches. And in 10 mins you can walk to the north cliff with many other restaurants and Ayurveda/Yoga-Places. Cottage super clean with good AC, very comfy bed, warm shower. Staff extremely nice, relaxed nad friendly atmosphere with everyone. Will come back one day.

We stayed for 3 nights at Utopia. Ivana and her daughter are absolutely delightful. The house is very clean and decorated with taste. The ambiance is very peaceful overlooking the rice fields (5mm tuk-tuk ride from the cliff) We highly recommend staying at Utopia if you are looking for a peaceful gateway with a beautiful yoga Shala for morning practice. I came for a few days as a solo traveller and enjoyed evert minute. The resort is beautiful, near a lake, with lots of palm trees and flowers. The stuff was so friendly and helpfull. The rooms are so nice and clean with everything you need. The food was so good. I highly recommend.

definitely recommend staying here, its a bit of a walk to the cliffs where all the restaurants are, but there is a restaurant close by, the blue water resort, where the food is good. breakfast is excellent. & all the staff are really nice and so helpful.
