The Malligi hotel was a completely luxury experience and is easily the nicest property we have stayed at in India. The design of the hotel is beautiful with scenic gardens and design. We ate at two of the restaurants on site and both were excellent with lovely food at very reasonable prices. The room was huge with comfy beds and a large tv with hundreds of channels. The shower constantly had hot water and the bathroom came with a large selection of toiletries included. Easy access to Hampi from her as well. Breakfast buffet every day with lots of selection. Nice swimming pool available as well. Very helpful and friendly staff always on hand to assist. For the price we paid this is up there with hotels anywhwere in the world.

Staying in this palace was the best decision of our trip. We were able to take a breather here after an intense trip. Amazing spaces, picturesque terraces, excellent service. We were also offered to use the palace's steam bath for free. I recommend it!

Breakfast was adequate and served by a very obliging waiter named Govind. He did all he could to make teh experience memorable. The ambience was excellent and very calming. Beautifully landscaped, with lots of birdsong.

    The ruins of the Vijaynagara kingdom, the mighty Tungabhadra, the birthplace of Lord Hanuman and beauty of Virupaksha and Vijaya Vitthala temple, all are so rich in culture and of course the food and the people are very nice.

    Hospet is a short drive away from Hampi.

    Hospet is a short drive away from Hampi. It is a convenient place to stay as it has many hotels and gives you all the amenities of a city life within a short radius. The train station is in Hospet so it is very convenient to get an auto to your hotel.

    It is a good city for tourism. but the infrastructure lacks...

    It is a good city for tourism. but the infrastructure lacks sufficiency. Very few good 3 star hotels, and Restaurants. hence they are expensive and not easily available. Be careful, if you are planning for your own vehicle, because the traffic here is hardly called regulated. very haphazard, and risky. Still it is more than worth visiting Hospet, because of Hampi and T B Dam & Park, Pampa Vana etc as a tourist. Although I live in Bangalore, I frequently travel their, because I belong to neighboring towns.

    Well connected by road and rail. People are good and good food available with affordable rate. Transportation also affordable. visiting TB Dam in evening is right time and the bus arrangements inside the dam area is good

    Great place to stay.

    Great place to stay. Tungabadra Dam is a great place to visit in Hospet. You have multiple view points of the dam, backwaters, gates. Lovely park near the dam to enjoy your evening. Light show is good. Good time to visit during monsoon when the dam gates are open. It is a magnificiant view to see the water rushing out of the dam. World famous heritage Site Hampi is close to Hospet. Hampi is a place of architecutural wonder and the sculputres, temples, ruins, palace area is a must see place. You need at least 2 days to see these wondering artistic ruins. Hapi has a rich heritage and grand history. Do take guide services so that you can get to know the place better. Do not miss to see stone chariot which is also printed on backside of our new 50 rupee note.

    Just after check in.. we decided to extend the room for another two days. It was clean, no odors and a good vibe. If you have a car, reaching the hotel is easy. food was good comparing to some big hotel in Hospet. Wada was delicious, gobi manchurian was street style and tasted great. we ordered almost daily during our stay. I even tipped the cook for the food. Staff was caring and attentive. Had an issue with the AC, but they repaired almost immediately, or else promised to give me an different room. Water pressure was also good.

    Property is very nice, it kept near and clean with sufficient parking space. The location is little interior when you come from Hampi route. Otherwise from Hospet side it’s near highway.
