It was such a great experience to stay at this place on the Valentine’s weekend. The hosts are so friendly and kind, they made everything possible for us to feel comfortable and satisfied. The room is super cozy, warm and with all the necessary stuff in it. The area is so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed and loved staying here, so will come the next time without doubts. P. S. We were delighted to be met by the person who runs St Martin´s Guest House personally. Due to mobile phone problems, we were very worried that communication about keys and our room would only be done digitally so it was a great relief that he was there personally when we arrived. (other landlords please take note). He was both helpful and friendly. We took his advice and ate in the evening at the nearby Dock Hotel, where we had the most delicious fish in all of our trip to Ireland.

The host and her father were just lovely. Very friendly and accommodating. Very doggy friendly! The rooms were spotless, fairly spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was quite good with many choices. Nice pub/restaurant within short walking distance. Great stay!

It was a beautiful property with a very cosy homely feel, unlike that of big hotels. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the common areas were absolutely lovely. The room itself was very spacious and extremely comfortable. There was a great variety available for breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were always friendly and helpful and even assisted to secure a reservation for Christmas Eve at the bistro. An overall amazing stay and we will definitely be returning upon our next trip to Wexford 😊

    Once a ferryport devoid of any real amenities apart from a hotel, Rosslare now boasts several bewer hotels, a fantadtic fish and chip shop, a restaurant-bar, a Pizza cafe, a supermarket and a post office. The village if Kilrane is a short walk away where you'll find two bars that serve food.

    We liked Rosslare because it was dog friendly and therefore...

    We liked Rosslare because it was dog friendly and therefore we got a good reception wherever we went with our dogs. The people were friendly towards us and our dogs. We were able to take them on some lovely walks off the leads. We liked the area for walking and even saw a seal a couple of times.

    The port is currently undergoing a major refit and expansion and will be considerably improved when finished. Users are not very inconvenienced by the work that is ongoing. We found accommodation in short supply and it would be strongly advisable to pre book as early as possible for your intended stay. Still the ideal arrival port from the U.K. for those living in the midlands and south. Good roads lead northwards towards Wexford.

    It is literally a place to stay near the ferry port but nothing else. Get there just in time to go to bed and get up and leave for the ferry. Overpriced in my opinion but that is just my opinion. Would I stay here again …. NO

    I was transiting by the ferry to England and arrived and...

    I was transiting by the ferry to England and arrived and left in the dark. I had one day in the area and went to Johnstown Castle and grounds which is not far away. It has recently been opened to the public. I wish the weather had been better so that I could have gone to the beach at Rosslare. Wexford town is close which was interesting to explore.

    Booked in for my sailing but my booking with irish ferries...

    Booked in for my sailing but my booking with irish ferries was cancelled and put on a senna sailing and I will not book with senna sailing again,irish ferries are the best sailing you can get in my humble opinion Did not see any of rosslair dark when I arrived dark when I left but road system very good to get the any part of Ireland you want to get to

    We were delighted to be welcomed by our very helpful host. The accommodation was located on a quiet street but was within walking distance of a shop, a pharmacy and a well appointed restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious evening meal. We were also a 4 minute drive from the Ferry port which was excellent as we had an early morning ferry.

    Check-in was easy, the room was accessible, there was good car parking and the lounge was a good place to eat sandwiches bought at a local shop and enjoy free tea and coffee. The location was excellent for access to the ferry port.
