Great location close to the village of Kilcar. Close to the magnificent Atlantic sea and Slive Leig cliffs , You get a house in the country side , yes a whole house complete with a new kitchen. Quiet, I had the best nights sleep in months. Krista and Stephen are a lovely couple.

The Welcome pack was a lovely unexpected addition. The facilities were outstanding better than our home. The recommendations were well received. The Welcome book was a great idea, loved it. Our family loved that we were in farming area, the evening sheep calls were very amusing.

Absolutely beautiful and comfortable B&B! It exceeded our expectations. The host was so kind and responsive. The location was perfect for us, as we were hiking Slieve League the following morning. Close drive into town. Breakfast was exceptional, and they even had a great vegetarian option. We will absolutely return next time we're in Ireland!

Our stay at Puffin Lodge was incredibly comfortable and proved to be excellent value for money. It was the perfect retreat to escape the winter weather. Tina went above and beyond as a host, and was always willing to offer help, recommendations, or anything we needed. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a coastal area of great beauty.

This is a coastal area of great beauty. It is well situated to visit many of the outstanding areas of natural beauty which abound in County Donegal such as Killybegs town, Teilean pier, Sliabh League Cliffs and boat trips, Glencolumbcille, Malin Bhig and Silver Strand to name but a few. The local people display the lovely hospitality renowned in Ireland.

Kilcar is a very small town and as such there is nowhere to...

Kilcar is a very small town and as such there is nowhere to eat a main meal at night. It has an interesting local weaving mill that welcomes visitors to both shop and observe the products being made. The residents of Kilcar have created a very pretty community garden, right beside Kilcar Lodge. Kilcar is well positioned for visiting the spectacular Slieve League sea cliffs. It's an easy day trip to the beautiful Glengesh Pass (Ghleann Gheis), the white sands of Maghera Strand and Assarancagh Waterfall.

The scenery is fabulous and the beaches are stunning.

The scenery is fabulous and the beaches are stunning. If you like hill walking it is very suitable. The only drawback is the roads are very narrow so extra care is needed. The view from Muckross Head is amazing and a must on your stay in Kilcar.. It is not far from the secret waterfall and the fishing port of Killybegs where you can take a boat trip to the Slieve League cliffs which are spectacular. It is also near the picturesque Teelin harbour.

Great home away from home - cleanest B&B I’ve ever been to! Teresa, the hostess, really goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable! Kilcar Lodge is around the corner from the bus stop and handy enough to get to spots like Muckross Beach, Carrick and Killybegs (we didn’t have a car and things were a bit more complicated, so drive if you can)

The location is great with stunning views. A Traditional Irish thatched cottage located exactly on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is close to Slieve League, Killibegs, Kilcar and Muckross Head and several beautiful beaches. We enjoyed our homemade scones from Ann on our arrival. We definitely will be back visiting Ann and her wonderful cottage.

We only stayed the night to attend a wedding in Kilcar, the scene from the patio is incredible, Lovely clean house and facilities, only a 5min drive to the town and Geraldine was an excellent host and even gave us a lift into town and telling us a bit about the area. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in the area

A sleek little property hidden away in the mountains, very comfortable and relaxing! The owners are just the best, the decor is modern but minimal with lovely views of the surrounding mountains, plenty of windows so plenty of light also and the property is in very close proximity to a local quiet Donegal village Kilcar.

Loved the Lodge and our room. Good parking and convenient for walking to the pubs in Kilcar. Teresa is a wonderful hostess and breakfast was a treat. Donegal is so wild and beautiful, even when it rains abundantly. Kilcar is a good base for visiting Slieve League, Adara and Glencolumcille. Great music at John Jo's bar.
