It is a nice, clean, cozy, newly renovated hotel with a super good location. It was pretty expensive, but it was worth it. Dublin, in general, is quite expensive for hotels. It has a well-sized shower and toilet room. The temperature was just perfect, and you could open a window to get some fresh air. It has a good bar and restaurant. Easy to access by taxi or public transport, about 5 min slight up-hill work from the bus stop. The staff was helpful and fully committed to resolving all issues or requests. Thanks to all!

The location was great. Right in the heart of the city. There are lots of attractions nearby by walking distance. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, especially Bartley'z, just in the lobby of the hotel, hairy lemon, and bambino pizza. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Carmina (I hope I spelled it correctly) from the front desk, she is very friendly and has amazing communication skills. Special thanks to the breakfast team and specifically Jessica she was awesome every morning and always had a smile on her face and was very professional.

FAQs about hotels in Dublin

Great History, Greenery & Pubs

Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green spaces of any European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.

Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College houses the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

As one of the youngest European cities, Dublin has vibrant nightlife with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

Dublin Airport is the gateway to your Irish vacation, so whether you’re looking for a stylish hotel, an independent apartment or a trendy hostel, Booking.com has a perfect deal for your Dublin trip.

Dublin is wonderful but bring a boatload of euros because it’s expensive. The city is interesting, although a lot of gentrification and redevelopment going on, for better or worse. We really liked the hop-on, hop-off and went with Big Bus Tours for the 24 hours—would do the 48 hour option next time. It’s grand, as they’d say.

Dublin has a lot to offer with history, wonderful museums, entertainment, food (my favorite pub on O'Connell St was Madigans, lovely people that work there and food was good. Evening has entertainment but be very aware of your surroundings as, unfortunately Dublin is not the Dublin it used to be, and I have been going there for 20 years, but go enjoy and hope you bring back wonderful memories as I have. They also have wonderful Hop on Hop off busses which works great when you get tired feet, also day tours are great way to also enjoy Ireland...go, enjoy! I'm adding a few pics outside of Dublin, just a short ride.

First visit to Dublin, for a sporting weekend, 2 nights.

First visit to Dublin, for a sporting weekend, 2 nights. I would have liked to have stayed 1 more night to see sights but that would be sufficient as its a tourist city...unless i was planning to use it as a base to go visit the rest of Ireland. Honestly...the craic is all a bit over-hyped. If its a hen night or stag do youll probably enjoy it. But there aren't too many sights, and apart from the authentic Guinness and the occasional irish music venue, the bars & clubs are not really anything you can't get in the rest of the UK. Its ridiculously expensive and 'highly variable' accommodation, and the food/drink is also very pricey (think Switzerland!). We were an older group and had a v good expensive meal at the Trocadero restaurant (think £50+ for one main course and couple glasses wine each), and had fun at the Maison en Seine bar/club. But the friendliness only goes so far and wasn't always evident. E.g. came across a very surly unhelpful barman at Darkey Kelly's pub, and many attractions-based staff frankly gave the impression of being bored and touristed out!

Brilliant location for a weekend. The bars and restaurants are great. Bambino’s pizza is the best! The city centre felt safe with a really good atmosphere. Temple Bar was overcrowded and overpriced, but that came no surprise, and while in Dublin it can’t be missed.

Irish cultural impact is remarkable - recommend EPIC museum of Irish emigrantion stories as well as Trinity College visit with Book of Kelts exhibition. And Guiness brewery and Whiskey museum! We were getting around mostly on foot as lot of sightseeing was around our place of stay at O´Connelly street. It is possible to travel cheaply by bus but you need coins to pay in the bus or buy a traveller´s card. To experience nice coast line, travel by train to Howth, it is about 40min. trip with regular and cheap train connection from Dublin stations.

It was expensive considering it’s €17 Cab fare each way to the city. (Approximately 12-15 mins in car to city centre) very clean and comfortable though. Also cleaners were there dead on 11am and practically escorted us out the door, being in Ireland you would expect them to be a little friendlier, they barely said hi to us but walked out to lock the door after us, I found that strange for such a renowned friendly City such as Dublin.

This is a little gem of a hotel in the centre of Dublin City Centre. Location perfect, room fabulous and spotlessly clean. The front of house staff were so friendly and helpful, we had a quick chat when checking in, telling them we were in Dublin for a show, when we came back to our room there were two little boxes of chocolates for us, with a note hoping we enjoyed our show, what a beautiful touch and much appreciated, Thank you.

Nice & clean hotel, with a comfy bed and all the amenities. We brought a car so parking was a big plus (although €13/day is pretty expensive). There’s a bus stop right outside that goes to the city centre which was pretty convenient. Dublin port was only a 20ish minute drive away. The only downside was the size of the room, the beds took up 80% of the space so there was no place to open suitcases without tripping over them.

Location, near everything for a short visit in Dublin city. This is a very busy hotel. I also like that the car park is almost in the same building, it is very convenient for a city centre location. Breakfast was nice. One of the main attractions, the Christ Church, is across the road. The bells ring every hour.
