Drogheda is much bigger than I expected.
Drogheda is much bigger than I expected. It’s very spread out and was quite congested with traffic when I was there so maybe a little difficult for driving if unfamiliar with the area. It is a very old town with lots of history and old buildings and has short distances to nearby beauty spots. Booking & check in were easy & efficient. The room & breakfast were excellent, Hotel nicely situated & grounds very pleasant. Staff Lorraine and Louisa were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Recommended places to eat and drink in the town and they didn't disappoint. Room was lovely nice and clean and the breakfast was really good with lots of choices available. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful so peaceful but still so close to Drogheda Town centre, couldn't fault our stay really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.Guest review byKarenIreland
