Culdaff is such a lovely small village located on Innishowen Peninsula east coast. Its location and area allows you to view either the rugged countryside or the glorious North Atlantic Ocean with Bunnagee and Dunmore Head in between. Great beach in Culdaff with play park for children.
Great beach in Culdaff with play park for children. The beach is great for walking and lovely for swimming. A short drive away if sightseeing you can do to Kinneago Bay and Malin head. Beautiful beach and only a short drive to Doagh Famine village. It was quiet when we stayed at the end of May but there is a shop where you can buy wine and beer etc. We ate in McGroarys and walked around the old graveyard before heading to the beach which is only a short walk away. There was a lovely mist around the bridge walking back to Ceecliff House which was just beautiful.Guest review bySpbernieIreland - 10.0
The beach; amazing!
The beach; amazing! I was familiar with it because we took our children over many times years ago but it was just wonderful to be there with a friend. Chatting away to so many people who live there. We went inside one of the pubs (only the beer garden was open due to covid), and we had a great chat and laugh with the owner and other staff. Lovely. People are great we got so much help when we almost missed our bus! Customers in a wee grocery shop were all doing their best to find out about the busses' timetable! Roomy driveway, really comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms upstairs and a spacious WC downstairs. Darren was a great host and the house suited our needs as a family of five. The house is in a very quiet estate with considerate neighbours. Very close to the most amazing beach.
