We really liked the location as it is very quiet and rural. But that was what we were looking for. If you want to go out for food, you would need a car. Although Henry's Bar&Restaurant offers a shuttle, which I find fantastic. Otherwise the beds are great, stunning view of Ben Bulben and the sheep. The bathroom was clean, could use a little more light. Water, coffee and tea was provided in the room(I even got a cookie!)The breakfast ist just amazing and made with love(you have to try the scones or French toast). There is plenty of space to park for free. And although Linda was not able to greet us in person when we arrived, everything was taken care of and instead we were welcomed by her mum and dog Skipper. I highly recommend the Lissadell Lodge and would stay again.

I need to mention something about the amazing staff: we forgot my friend’s bag at the reception when we were already a couple of hours away from the hotel. A staff member, Aimee, kindly organized a courier and had it delivered to the other place we were staying within 30 minutes. We are incredibly grateful to her and we absolutely recommend this hotel!

    Linda was very welcoming and obviously experienced at her job. Room was great and as described. One small issue was a regular twanging noise from the plumbing. Not loud enough to stop you sleeping but might be annoying to some. Overall the one night stay was excellent and good value. Nice to meet shep the dog too. Thanks Linda.

    Friendly, helpful, and accommodating host, excellent breakfast with "extras" such as warm scones and assortment of jams and preserves. It is a lovely setting and home with easy parking and a short bit from the motorway. We loved the fact that we were in a secluded rural setting yet minutes away from local restaurants and pubs, and a very short drive from Sligo. We loved having the beautifully appointed lounge available for after-dinner conversation with friends.

    Immaculately clean house! Our host was very helpful & friendly. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there was even fresh fruit beforehand! A lovely quiet location, close enough to Sligo and Bundoran with a fab view of the mountain. Pub, local shop & excellent Chinese takeaway not far away in Carney.
