The strong point of this place is the staff, really nice and prepared guys who make you feel good right away, it is possible to do tours in the jungle with them, we did the two-day one with our guides Rismanto and Risky who made us feel great, they are really wonderful people. This is juste the perfect place ! At the end of the village, so more quiet, front of the gorgeous river. My bungalow was huge and very charming. But most of all Tia welcome you in the best way. She's very kind and gives very good advices, so you can trust her to organise a treck in the forest. I did it and it was a magic moment ( and physical ! ). I love Bukit Lawang, it's a very beautiful place and you can trust me : go to Rambai Tree Jungle lodge you will love it !

We stayed 6 nights at this beautiful Guesthouse with lovely people. The room was spacious and the patio overlooking the nice garden was a great place to relax. On one afternoon we could even see an orangutan with her baby in the garden. The complementary breakfast was delicious with lot of choices. They have also a restaurant overlooking the river where they serve superb food and juices at very convenient prices. Andri and his family were very friendly and helpful for any inquiry we had and arranged our transport from airport and after to Berastagi. We went on the 1 day jungle trek with them and had a great time with Amri and Baba as well as a very interesting village tour. Comunication before arrival was excellent. Wifi was working very good.

I will tell you what to do: 1. Learn English 2. Buy flight tickets 3. Buy some rupees 'Uncle Sam' takes care of everything else (airport transportation, food, drinks, trekking, traveling in the forest... whatever comes to your mind). Opening your window curtains and seeing the Rainforest and the river... I'll be honest, I didn't expect this much. It was an incredible experience for me.

I loved the location, right in front of the river and at the end of the village.I had a room overlooking the river and the jungle , great location. The employee are amazing always ready to help and the ambience is very nice and relaxing. The food is very good, the chef is amazing there. They new about my allergy to gluten and they were able to bake some bread for me and also made gluten free pancakes...love it. They also organized my transfers and my 2 days trekking in the jungle and we had a fantastic time, Ichan ( I may spell it wrong) and his friend were great...we saw many monkeys and birds we also see a walking Orangutan .

The place is beautiful and quiet. The staff is amazing, very helpful. They also offer trekkings to the jungle. I did a 3-day trekking. It was the best. We saw orang-utans, had delicious food and the guides were very knowledgeable.

Thank you, Batu Mandi! We came here with horrible food poisoning and they absolutely did everything to help us to recover. They gave us traditional medicine and brought us everything we needed to our room. Room was basic, but very nice and comfortable. Their garden is next to the river, it's very quiet and peaceful.
