We had an unforgettable stay in this truly unique location, nestled in the heart of Bali’s most stunning natural surroundings. The accommodation is small and wonderfully peaceful, with beautifully crafted bamboo-style rooms that offer both charm and comfort. The pool is a lovely spot to relax, perfectly complementing the serene atmosphere. What really sets this place apart, however, is the incredibly warm and attentive staff. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. A particularly touching gesture was when one of the staff members drove all the way back home to fetch traditional clothing for us, so we could attend a Hindu ceremony at a nearby family temple—an experience we’ll never forget. They are also an invaluable source of local knowledge, able to connect you with the very best guides if you’re interested in learning about Balinese customs and history, or if you simply want to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Sekumpul. The area is breathtaking, with terraced rice fields, lush, aromatic vegetation filled with herbs and fruits, and of course, the magnificent waterfalls that are nothing short of awe-inspiring. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly—it’s a hidden gem and a perfect retreat for those seeking a genuine and enriching Bali experience.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable, with a spotless and well-maintained bathroom. The breakfast was a highlight—highly recommend trying the noodles, pancakes, and, of course, the coffee! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect for exploring North Bali, and one of the best parts is that you can walk to the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfalls. A special thank you to Agus, the hotel’s driver, who made our trip even smoother with reliable transfers. He speaks English well, drives safely, and offers fair prices—highly recommended! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Staying at D’Kailash Retreat was one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. The wooden bungalows are simple but really comfy, with good mattresses and everything you need to feel at home. Waking up to those amazing views every morning was a dream—pure peace and quiet. What really makes the place special, though, are the owners. They’re genuinely kind, welcoming and the sweetest ever! We liked everything and we would like to come back for more nights the next time. The staff is very kind and upgraded us to a better room with an amazing view of the valley and a waterfall because we were on our honeymoon. The room was big with a huge comfortable bed. It had a nice terrace were you could have any meal you wanted - we had our breakfast. We had to leave early the next day and they brought us the breakfast to our room earlier than the normal hour. They also came to help with the luggage when our driver arrived without us asking for it. The pool is big and clean with an awesome view and you can enjoy drinks and food from the restaurant. We also had dinner there and it was very good.

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

Loads to do there, great cheap food, you can get a steak for $4, Lovina is only a few clicks away if you want night life, sunrise lodge and lounge is ace if you like to party, it is what YOU make of it, not them.

The room was really nice, we had the one that was upstairs. the bathroom was nice, big and clean. only the toilet didn't flush and we had to use a bucket to flush it. The owner was very nice and arranged dolphin watching for us including scooter and transport to nect hotel. He wil bring you to the pesisi restaurant for free for diner. The gardens to the villa was very nice, felt like walking into a jungle!

It was a fantastic surprise to arrive at this hotel and find how clean and comfortable the rooms were. The location was quiet, yet a short walk to the restaurants. The on-site food was fantastic! Kiki, the barista makes one of the best iced coffees and the breakfast was delicious! One day it was a special eggs benedict!

the hotel is located in a very quiet street. 100m from the sea. I could do some really nice snrorkling and harpon fishing with a guy from the hotel. Cosy place to relax during the day. What a nice moment here
