The family of the homestay are lovely and treat you like part of the family straight away. The food was excellent and plentiful. Not only did they cater to vegetarian and vegan diets easily, the food was delicious and a highlight of our stay. For the room, it was small but adequate with a queen size bed with a comfortable mattress. The bathroom was nice with a good pressure cool shower and flushing toilet. Aircon worked great.and was a nice treat. Ken's homestay was the place to be in the evening with live music being played by various talents from across the village. It's a fun and friendly vibe. Some nights are more lively than others which was a nice mix for us. If you are a light sleeper or go to bed early bring earplugs and it is fine. The mornings are nice and quiet and you can wake up to the sound of the waves. You can't even hear the church or the mosque! We went on two snorkelling tours and both were great ways to see other amazing snorkelling spots and we even visited the village on Manado Tua. Good value too. We extended our stay by two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Terima kasih banyak!

The room had an amazing view overlooking the beach and ocean. The room was very spacious, had a big bed and a very good fan that definitely cooled the room down enough. The bathroom was simple but worked perfectly and had everything you needed. Mama Lis was the kindest, most caring woman, always looking over my needs, cooking amazing dishes with a lot of variety and always had a very big smile on her face. I felt at home there and would have stayed even longer if I could have. If you want to have breakfast every day overlooking the ocean and the best host I would definitely recommend staying here.

The infrastructure of the MC accommodation I booked this time is sufficient for tourists with modest requirements. The service team is incredibly friendly and helpful, offering plenty of excellent travel tips. The in - house dive shop charges reasonably and doesn't engage in excessive promotion. The rooms come with air - conditioners, which are crucial for those of us who can't stand humidity and heat. The shower uses desalinated cold water that has a faint salty taste, but it doesn't mar the experience. There are basic tables and stools in the room, which meet our needs. The beds are large and comfortable. If you're not picky about room space, it's quite adequate. The daily meals are delicious Indonesian specialties. The hotel is superbly located right by the sea. It's just a ten - minute walk to the nearby beaches for snorkeling. There, you can witness coral gardens and huge underwater drop - offs, along with an abundance of fish and turtles. It's a magnificent sight. Due to the rainy season and our brief stay this time, I didn't get to try scuba diving. However, I'll definitely choose MC accommodation again. They have more upscale and comfortable options available to suit different needs.

Naca is a lovely person who take care of her guest ! Terimacashii for everything. Tea, coffee and water all day. Easy to go by walking to snorkling spot Very good food ! 150k package breakfast lunch dinner, very very good ! Fresh and homemade. I enjoy my stay, rest a lot and beautiful sunset. The atmosphere was really relaxed. From travel mode,we could really switch towards relaxing. The staff (Fi, the singing lady's and helpers on the boat) are really nice and helpful with a lot of humor. Just for Fi we would come back😉 The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everyone worked hard to keep the hole area clean. The food was really good, and they tried to make every mail different 👏 Then the diving, one of our reasons to be there. The owners Fu and David run the dive school with great passion. David was also our dive instructor. He is super relaxed,but doesn't miss anything what we did wrong 🫣or good😅 We couldn't wish for a better instructor ( Thanks). Bunaken is a wonderful place for snorkling or diving
