This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access. The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while. The open kitchen was an absolute dream. Both breakfast and dinner featured freshly prepared Balinese dishes that were so delicious. Even dessert was always something special. Kudos to the cook. By scooter, you could quickly reach the temple above or the nearby residential area with shops and restaurants. The impressive rice terraces of Jatuliwah can be reached in about 20 minutes. Jatiluwih is such a peaceful Balinese village, far from the tourist crowds. I booked a walking tour with Gunza, and it was amazing. The guide Peri ,took me to see the rice fields, a hot spring, and other beautiful natural spots. I had such a great time!
