I was travelling with a dog due to dogshow and the accomodation was more than excellent, like when you visit the best friend, even the dog snack was waiting on the table :-) i felt warm welcome..., The lady-owner was very friendly, paid attention to all the details and helped with everything immediately.I strongly recommend the stay here when you are around Kecskemet..also there are many opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing, families and dogs. You will not be hungry- restaurant or ice cream is 1minute walk from appartment, dogs beach and "park" and river too, ...really quiet place where we slept very well.Thanks a lot, happy to return back again!

Nicely renovated, clean, large open spaces. Plenty of separation from outdoor smoking areas. The pools were clean and a good temperature for outdoors. Free onsite parking. Breakfast had sufficient variety and plenty of it. The staff (two lovely young women seemed to be running the show) were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Every request was answered with a smile and "yes of course". Even made me a sandwich and coffee at 10.30pm. I had booked for two nights, Saturday and Sunday but mucked up the dates so they were expecting us on the Friday. I asked if they could add a third night so we could still leave on Monday. "Yes of course"! Guess what? They refused to charge us more!

    This is a riverine resort based on the "waters" of the area.

    This is a riverine resort based on the "waters" of the area. The "beach" along the river comes alive on weekends & evenings, when bars & cafés offer a variety of ambiences. Avoid major school holidays when families take over and it looks like a European version of Copacabana (with more fabric). One massive modern resort dominates the spa scene, and Germans & Austrians whose insurance pays for an annual "Kur" like to come where their Euro has more buying power. The resort offers what they call a "brunch" that is actually a lunch, with quality nearly matching the price. Plan on buying groceries in one of the larger cities nearby. If you love rivers, walking along rivers, drinking next to rivers, and don't fall into quicksand associated with the river, this is a haven for you.

    This family-oriented hotel near the beach of the Tisza river offers decent accommodations in a resort town. At least one room that I saw will appeal to families with adventurous children: the children's bed area is an alcove reached by a protected ladder. Staff seemed friendly, but my nearly nonexistent Hungarian was matched by their English, and not much communication occurred. A sparse but adequate modified continental breakfast is offered. The area nearby offers restaurants & snacks. Walks along the river are just outside the door.
