Great for family vacation to visit the area and enjoy the lakeside for 3-5 days. You can spend half days visiting area and half days at the beach. Lake is shallow (1,2m deep) for over 150m from shore. Grass beach is excellent for games and relaxing. Restaurants and shops on the beach. You can easily discover the Balaton Lake area from here. There is a view tower with lake museum 12 min drive away. It also has a nice playground for kids. Ferry crossing to Tihany peninsula can be reached by ferry which is 25min from the village. Nice experience for children. Tihany village is beautiful, with nice view over lake. Excellent restaurant for lunch. Szigligeti Castle is about 1h20mim drive away. Great ruin to visit with children. Steep climb, interesting explanations on the history of the region and castle.
