The apartment exceeded our expectations. Decorated with style, very neat, spacious and clean. It has absolutely everything that is needed for a family of four. The location is wonderful, very quiet and close to the most beautiful beaches. Edi is a great host. Very friendly, loves to talk about olive production. He organized an exclusive olive oil tasting for us which we enjoyed a lot. Defenitely we will return in the future. Nice beaches close to the appartment eg Hawaii Beach. And interesting medivial towns as Vrsar, Porec and Novigrad. The appartmant is nice and clean and spacious. Good for a nice vacation.

    The hosts has been kindly, friendly, helpfully but...

    The hosts has been kindly, friendly, helpfully but respectfully. The room was great for us, a couple in the sixtees. We liked the quietness and tranquility of the location and the area. We liked the extensious walkings in the nature around, fields, little woods and on the seaside. Porec, Novigrad and Umag were nearby and in a few minutes to reach by car. There were not so many restaurants open in the village, but the two ones we visited served delicous meals and best wine. We escaped from the cold and foggy weather in Austria to the sunny, clean and salty mediterranean air of Istria and wouldn't have been disappointed. There would have been worth to be visited a lot of more locations nearby, if we would have had the time for it. We loved those days and will come back by occasion.

    The local bakery is nice.

    The local bakery is nice. There is a lot of nice beach near, but Lanterna (Tar's beach) is far not on the list. Rovinj, Porec and Pula is near. Rovinj is the most beautifull city. Tar is mostly a "just sleep town", you need to travel to the near beaches.

    Lovely apartments located in the heart of the peaceful village of Tar. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help. The location is ideal—close to beautiful beaches, yet in a quiet area with plenty of great restaurants nearby. This has become our favorite place in Istria! The apartments are pet-friendly, but make sure to inform the owner in advance, as some rooms are reserved for guests with pet allergies.

    We travelled with a group of friends. We rented the entire Villa with 8 apartments. It was absolutelly perfect. We enjoyed it very much. Tar is a beautiful small village with a bakery and fishery. There is a football pitch so our kids played football with the local kids every night. We loved it and didnt want to go back home.

    Very nice and very clean apartment. The kitchen was equiped with everything necessary (the stove, the oven, the microwave oven etc.), and there was a washing machine in the bathroom. We had our own parking space.

    It is a good price-performancre ratio. The room was clean, the sheets got changed after one night, you have a small fridge and a kettle in the room an Tar is very close to Lanterna or Poreč.
