Hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed on the Adriatic, and I’ve been exploring the Croatian coast for 20 years… A gorgeous old house, so cozy and comfy, beautifully decorated by the owner (who is an amazing person btw, very nice to talk to, very accomodating). The house is equipped with everything you need for a nice vacation, the kitchen is huge and new, the dining and living rooms are also very big, you have a full bathroom and another toilet on the 1st floor. The bedrooms are also huge, with large comfy beds - and each has their own AC unit. You even have a smart TV! Not that you’ll need it, because you have an amazing courtyard to enjoy the whole day, because there’s always at least a part of it in shade. And you have an outdoor shower which is great for hot summer days. The house is perfectly placed, in a quiet street, but close to the city centre (5min walk max) and close to the public beach (2min walk). We definitely recommend, and will be coming back next year! :)

Among many things we really liked sincere hospitality of our hosts and the perfect view towards the Adriatic Sea, Zadar and Velebit Mt. in the hinterland were probably the most impressive:-) The apartment was very quiet and peaceful, just the same as is a little town of Preko as a destination, enabling as to enjoy a really nice family vacation...

Large apartments with excellent repair and a large terrace with a amazing view of the sea and Zadar, very fresh linen and perfect cleanliness. Lots of dishes, supermarket 500m away, sandy beach 600m. The pool with sea water is very comfortable and clean.

    Beach Jaz is good for kids and poor swimmers. The little island is a delight. We stayed only a short while and I got hit by a cold so we didn't really get around much. All needed infrastructure is near and there are enough connections to Zadar is someone wants more.

    Preko is a very beautiful and magical place with its own, rather calm atmosphere. Suitable for relaxing by the sea, walking, sitting in cafes and restaurants. But it is also worth more active walks, exploring the island, the view from the castle of St. Michael on the surrounding islands, etc. The color of the water is incredible and clear.

    Preko was fantastic, there's a great ferry service to Zadar (always on time and very economical - just make sure you get the right one as there are two, one to the old town and one to the new!) but more than enough to do on the island itself. There are plenty of nice places to eat, little shops, a couple of supermarkets and a beautiful marina. We hired bikes and paddle-boards (can highly recommend Martin the 'Rent-Man') and so were able to explore a lot more of the beautiful island - we completely fell in love with it.

    We fell in love with Preko. We are very well travelled. This place is special. It’s unspoilt and quiet. The sea is fabulous. It’s clean and stylish. I’d not recommend it for big groups wanting nightlife but for others who want peace in a beautiful location, it’s great! The Croatian people are lovely too. Everything we wanted was at hand- restaurants and bars (but we self catered); small but adequate supermarkets; a daily fish delivery (near the bus area or in the small market in the village); the little island; the quiet beaches (rocky); the marinas and everything. It was a marvellous place to unwind. We were there 4 nights (easy ferry access from Zadar) and we just chilled. The 3 nights in Zadar were great too!

    Good access through ferry from Zadar, good beaches, also sand beaches, not super crowded in the high of season, possibly for renting equipment around, many old small streets and local people. Super wiew to mountain's and Zadar, clean water around.

    Locals in Zadar kept telling us that vacation starts on the islands and now we agree! Island Osljak is a pearl...the beautiful nature, 5 minutes by boat to a port town for shopping, no cars, private beaches, amazing nature, plants, flowers, fruits everywhere, and the water is fantastic colors and great snorkeling. The hosts are wonderful and the apartment very good, well located, dreamy views, and great croatian style bbq. This exceeded our hopes on all levels and can wholeheartedly recommend coming for a great stay. Cheers, Robbie i Sandy

    The property owner, Joško, was always available and helped us even with things not related to the house. The house itself was great: in a perfect location (close to beaches, supermarkets, and many restaurants) and had everything we needed (laundry room, air conditioning on both floors, a small grill, barbecue, big terrace with a garden, and more). I truly recommend staying here if you choose Preko for your vacation. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable!

    The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is spacious and clean. The balcony is huge with a nice table and chairs and a gorgeous sea view. The pool area and garden are perfect! Our hosts were helpful, accommodating, and very generous. Preko is a quiet escape from busy Zadar with plenty of good restaurants to choose from, 2 grocery stores and bike rental nearby. We walked everywhere.

    The owners are wonderful and kind hosts. Advise and help when needed. The pool is super 27° and the sea is very close as well as shops and restaurants. I can only recommend! We recommend it for families with children and single couples.
