Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place. A pleasant short walk and you are already on the beach or in any corner of the city. I advise anyone with children to go to the Makarska Observatory in the evening.
