Absolutely Exceptional – A Stay to Remember! We are still here at Hotel Ani in Makarska (leaving tomorrow), but I couldn’t wait to share how incredible this experience has been. From the moment we arrived, everything has been perfect — the room, the views, the food, the spa and privacy policy, the service… simply everything! The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully designed with comfort in mind. The pool area is peaceful and relaxing, and the breakfast is fresh, varied, and delicious. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, is the staff. Everyone has been kind, welcoming, and professional, but we would especially like to thank Marijana. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests go far beyond expectations. We are deeply grateful for everything she’s done to make our stay so special. If you're considering a stay in Makarska, don't think twice — Hotel Ani is a gem. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The hotel is updated and you can feel it, the rooms are nice and spacious. Cleaning every day. Friendly hotel staff. Food is varied in the evening, tasty. Great pizza every day, for which my daughter was very grateful. Breakfasts are the same European every day, there is plenty to choose from. On the city beach in the shade of trees, you need to take a seat at 7 in the morning. Sunbeds cost 7 euros for one day. The water is clean, the color is incredible. People in moderation. The hotel is in a convenient location, we liked it.

    Makarska is a perfect size for exploring on foot. It has a beautiful old town and is supplied with some great eating places. I would recommend Gastro Diva for a local eating experience. The beaches are good and there are some lovely walks around the peninsula.

Unfortunately, when we needed medical help and X-Ray inspection after getting trauma, we had to go to Split (State Hospital).

    It's a rather small town, but has many options to enjoy yourself. Travelling to Split only takes just over an hour so you could choose to stay there more relaxingly instead of staying in busy Split.

    The walk from Cuban each into town - approximately 3 km was lovely with lots of good beachfront cafes. Parking was expensive for beach access and difficult to get a Bolt/Uber the times we tried. The rooftop restaurant was wonderful for a fine dining experience.

    Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September.

    Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place. We only walk and stay overnight in Makarska center. Biokovo skywalk is fantastic

    Makarska town - a great strategic location to reach other attractions - Dubrovnik, Split-Trogir, Omiš, KRKA park, Biokovo SKYwalk observation deck. This is a great combination of relaxation and sightseeing. We recommend coming from mid-July, because the Adriatic Sea is quite cold. The people are very friendly, We recommend

    Perfect apartments in Makarska. Mario was very friendly and helpful. Pool area has plenty of sunbeds, big pool, has bar where Mario can mix some cocktails for you. Modern and clean apartments with everything you need for comfortable vacations. Free parking at hotel. Makarska is very nice town, with a lot of restaurants options and nice beaches. Overall very pleased with our time in Luxury apartments and can definitely recommend!

    Of our 9 different accomodations in Croatia this summer, Guesthouse Rose&Ana was by far the best! Extremely nice and helpful host, very spacious, modern and clean apartment with a nicely sized kitchen. Would definitely stay here again, and preferably for a longer time!

    Everything! This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Croatia. May as well be a 5 star. The hotel staff were kind and helpful, and the parking was very reasonably priced for such a tourist hot spot. Also really impressed with how thoroughly it was cleaned!
