Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part. I especially like that there is not too many tourists and that you can both enjoy the town beach just as the wild rocky beaches where you have more privacy! I would recommend Lovranski Pub and Delfino for GREAT meal! The walk road by the see - LungoMare give you a huge pleasure by the sea from Lovran to Volosko! Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural...
Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural abundance. The only problem are the roads and basic infrastructure after beautiful promenade in Opatija and Lovran. The cars are driving like there is MonteCarlo, without any consequences or fines, and as a walker going to the beach, you are not considered. Simply, there is no basic traffic lights, sidewalks and you can easily get killed there if not careful enough when passing the main street. Just as foretold, a bit smaller, a bit less fancy version of Abbazia / Opatija. The sea is the same :-) Also vey nice villas and apartments, the Lungo Mare is stretching all the way till here. The wine they serve at dinner is very expensive: 5,9 eur per 1 dcl. The room was clean and warm. Parking in the garage is also very expensive: 17 eur per day. But there are plenty of parking spaces on the street free of charge. There is also a swimming pool with seawater, which is not very warm and the pool area is also a bit chilli. Finnish and Turkish saunas are also available. Personnel in the restaurant, who were not Croatian (I would say they are from Phillipines), were all very kind.Guest review byBredaSlovenia
