Search hotels in Santa Rosa de Copán

This is a pretty remote town - I wouldn't expect hordes of tourists here and I didn't find that either. That said, it's certainly a worthwhile place to visit, with a preserved colonial grid center and an enjoyable town square. There were many, many clothing shows offering the wonderfully odd 'ropa americana'. It's a good base to explore the Copán department from, including the eponymous site of Copán (about three hours away, counting traffic). Unless you have specific reasons, more than three days is probably excessive.

It is a perfect stop on the way to Copan Ruinas, Arrive in the late afternoon and spend a night in town, there are many restaurants and bars to choose from, unless you book a hotel outside of the city, most of the places are within walking distance. The downtown area is safe to walk around even in the night. The next morning pack your stuff and continue the trip.

It is a very nice place to visit, it is very clean and has the best coffee ,the climate is very nice ,the people is very friendly there are plenty to do ,lots of restaurants, if you like to walk is perfect for that .i love it .
