It is very expensive to eat out, so you will need to shop around. If you stay away from the restaurants with a view, you can see a big difference in the prices if you go a street or two below for the same food. Bring runners with you as you will do alot of walking and the paths are not great so no heels. We loved the area and our view.
We loved the area and our view. Maria and her father are wonderful hosts. They take great pride in their business. Breakfasts were wonderful. We loved being out on our deck overlooking the volcano. We also enjoyed the hot tub. There is a great market just a short walk away for anything you may need. We also enjoyed Oia. Fira is a great town full of varied shops and fantastic places to eat. It can be expensive so plan a little extra money for food though! There are plenty of things to do an see in the town and the public transport to other areas of the island are quite frequent and cheap. Despite being after peak season it was crowded, noisy, traffic jams quite frequent and pricey. We returned after 20 years to discover that it’s not a place for vacation any more. You have to be prepared for what is a very hilly town. The worse times are when the cruise ships arrive, that’s when it’s worth visiting other parts of Santorini. Get the timing right and Fira offers many first class Greek restaurants. Those without views over the Caldera are often more affordable.Guest review byAnonymous

Area is safe and has great amenities too. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. Daily room cleaning is also available. Kettle and mini fridge in the room is a great addition. Pool is clean and well kept. We went swimming twice. Staff are really nice, very lovely and always ready to help, especially Irene!
