The hotel and room are one of the most comfortable and pleasant in my many travels to Greece and Italy. The manager and all the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room (302) was large with a couch and big double bed. There were many sockets for plugging in appliances. Lots of room in drawers and closet to put away things. There is a desk to use laptop and Wi-Fi was easy to connect and fast. The refrigerator was cold and adequately big. The large bathroom was a delight. One large bathtub with jets and a shower head. And another large shower on the other side of the bathroom. There is a bar open in the evening on a terrace with a nice view which you can use during the day. The pool was nice with nice shrubbery around it. The location is great, right above the pretty cove beach with tavern and right on edge to old town with grocery store, restaurants and really good grill house. The décor was very pleasant and modern in all respects: room, bathroom, hallways, and breakfast room. Nice touch with fresh flowers in lobby. Breakfast was good with different eggs as well as boiled eggs, bacon, meats, cheese, fruits, vegetables and decent machine coffee. Parking in lot across from hotel. Nothing more you would want for a nice place to swim and eat in a small town at a reasonable price. Communication via Booking messaging quick and helpful.

This is a great 5-star hotel on the beautiful beach of Panormos. The buildings, facilities, and rooms were new, well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The staff was always super helpful, consistently ensuring we had everything we needed. We arrived a bit early for check-in, but they welcomed us warmly and offered us breakfast for free, which was a delightful surprise. On the first day, they sent prosecco and fruits to our room. Throughout our stay, they frequently surprised us with small sweets or drinks, and gave us gifts on the last day. The food was amazing; all restaurants and bars offered great service and had great menus. You may want to visit their restaurants for the experience, but their breakfasts and dinners are top-notch! The beaches and the sea are ten out of ten! Floating breakfast, massage, and wine tasting are also must-try if you’re into them. Just choose this hotel and forget about trip planning; go and enjoy!

I loved the location. Honey is situated in the quieter part of town, further along the coast and closer to the smaller beaches—which I personally preferred over the larger, busier one in the other part of Bali. The apartment is a great option for anyone looking for a 2-room setup without booking two separate hotel rooms. There’s a separate kitchen and living area with a big sofa that can easily sleep two, plus a bedroom with a pretty large, comfy bed. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the appliances you’d need to cook a meal or prepare breakfast in the morning. (The only small critique I’d give is that I wish there were one more power outlet so you could run the toaster and coffee machine at the same time—but that’s really a minor detail.) There’s also a cute balcony with space to hang and dry your swimsuits while you sleep. But the absolute best part of our stay was, OF COURSE, the staff—especially the wonderful Eda. She pretty much runs everything at the hotel, keeps it spotless, manages the plants that would otherwise melt in the Bali heat, and still finds time to make every guest feel welcomed and cared for. A lot of the great memories from our stay are thanks to her specifically. We were traveling all the way from Ukraine and arrived super early—around 7 or 8 a.m.—which is well before check-in. We were completely exhausted, but Eda kindly checked us in early so we could rest and recover after the long trip. She also gave us tons of useful advice about the area: which restaurants are worth visiting (and which ones aren’t), how to snag the best sunbeds, and so on. Her English is excellent, and she’s just the loveliest, most organized hotel boss 😎 and a genuinely great person. If you’re coming to Honey, even if you don’t know anything about how the place works, trust me—you’ll be taken care of ❤️

    Adorable, quaint and full of charm. At night the village centre close the roads, bring out the tables and chairs and the streets are filled with the sights, smells and sounds of Cretan joy. One of the places I will miss the most and can’t wait to return too.

    Parnormos is a small village not spoilt by too many...

    Parnormos is a small village not spoilt by too many tourists. It has a couple of big hotels .There are several small supermarkets and a bakery . We arrived by bus from Iraklio which drops you off on main road which is abit hairy to walk along for 100m before the turn off for the village, we have also come previously from Rethymno , these buses come into the village which was better. A day trip to Rethymno by bus is recommended, they go every 30 mins , just be sure to buy your tickets from a local shop in advance .There are a few streets selling souvenirs etc which lead down to the beach, At night tables are brought out into the streets outside restaurants and there was a good choice of places to eat. A great trip is to Klados winery , 30 mins walk or 5 mins in taxi to taste their wines sitting under a pergola. There is also a Dotto train which has some trips into the mountains , we did one which included the Melidoni caves . This is the second year we have stayed in Parnormos, after the busy towns of Crete , it is a peaceful place to relax and we have loved being there. We did not need a car to get around.

    Panormos is only small but it has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. Local beaches, nice good quality restaurants and bars. Not a party town but enough to keep you entertained. Direct hourly bus service to Rethymon if you require the big city vibe

    The village is very pretty. Lots of choices of really great bars and restaurants. The beaches are small and can be a little crowded. You can go here without a car as there are a few day trips around Crete.

    It is a city that combines traditional, aristocratic and modern elements in a unique way. The old town of Rethymno is very picturesque, with a very beautiful Venetian port, castles and narrow streets paved with stones. The Venetian harbor area is an excellent place to have a coffee, or to dine in a quiet, harmonious atmosphere. The fortress that dominates the city and the delightful pedestrian alleys invite you to take a walk. Architecture merges with history, in the Venetian and Ottoman styles. The numerous shops with souvenirs and trendy jewelry full of imagination add color to the place.

    Small town with a busy cafe/restaurant area in the centre. Lovely bakery and a supermarket close to the beach selling pretty much everything you could need. Its not far from the main road (but it is uphill) so travel to other places was easy - but you do need to book on the bus to get a seat. Booking is free, best done on line

    We had all we need for our 2 weeks stay in Crete. Perfect location, spacious, very kind staff, specially Giulia who made our stay even more pleasant. The hotel is very well situated half road between Heraklion and Chania which is convenient if you plan to explore the island. A lot of restaurant, market and even a massage saloon just within 20 meters. Fully recommend it.
