The room and the area is beatiful. Location is perfect, onyl a few minutes The by walk from the city centre. The staff were very helpful. Rooms are clean. We really enjoyed our stay in Ilio Maris.

The hotel is brand new and everything looks fresh. The staff and manager did everything to please us. The breakfast is excellent; the pool and the breakfast area have a stunning view; the hotel also has a lovely garden (the transplanted olive trees are incredible); the bed is very comfy; the jacuzzi in the balcony is impecable! Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants. A few high end clothing stores, and many many businesses selling jewelry, clothes, souvenirs and fridge magnets. Quite small, apparently caters to party goers over the summer (went in October end of season, where most main venues had closed).

Mikonos is very cute but very small, probably two or three days is enough to stay there, more than enough but if you are in a boat could be a different experience. The windmills and the marina are my favorites spots and of course the restaurants and the shopping is all there.

We visited late September, weather perfect, crowds not crazy, perfect time of year to visit the islands in Greece. We've been during high season (July) and crowds made it less enjoyable. We stayed 3 nights, and that was perfect to do what we wanted to do and get a great feel for Mykonos in our opinion. Getting around on foot & bus was easy and inexpensive. Very walkable, beaches very accessible by bus for 2 Euros. More expensive that say Paros, but, worth experiencing for a 2-3 days. Ferry to Delos island was easy and 25 Euros each and amazing experience. Any more time would be too much on this island. It is known for its "party" style, however, we had a relaxing trip and felt none of the crazy party atmosphere. Which was exactly what we wanted.

Some great restaurants, though vegetarians have to look harder, some amazing views and a unique charm. Can be tricky to get around if you have restricted mobility, but it is worth the effort. Over-promoted (where isn't?) so pretty busy anytime, but visiting in late season brings its own rewards.

It was different to all the old towns we have visited in our trip- it was straight streets rather than meandering steps up hills. There are hills with steps, but on the outskirts. The shops are mixed up with local and luxury. Heaps of restaurants and bars. The colours are beautiful.

As an Australian I didn’t come for the beaches…. Ours are first class but the sea water is more beautiful and crystal clear in the Mediterranean and Adriatic. The town itself is unique with quaint cobbled alleyways and restaurants everywhere and shops. It’s European style . Summer must be a nightmare with all the tourists so September for us was great, still warm and good weather. The bus routes are on opposite sides of the waterfront. One bus runs that way and the other ,the other way …… hope that makes sense. One leaves from the old port and the other from Fabrika square . Plenty of hired scooters or quad bikes available to explore the island . My first impression was not favourable but the next day had a better impression and enjoyed the two days in Mykonos . Long enough for me . We stayed in a beautiful hotel at the top of the hill called hotel Damianos … beautiful beautiful hotel , lovely breakfast, super friendly staff , lovely pool area and very reasonably priced . Would highly recommend

Everything was beyond excellent in this hotel. This is a family run hotel, newly opened and perfect. I cannot highly recommend this hotel enough. Location is perfect, 2 mins into town. Rooms are so cool, modern and spacious- beds are so comfortable. Complimentary Breakfast every day was amazing! The hotel staff were so wonderful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning next year and staying there every time we come to Mykonos!

the location is excellent if you are planning to go to the down town, walking distance about 5-10 min but on returning back it Is a steep elevation and always in Mykonos the road are tight so you have to watch the cars, the sunset view is Stunning , the swimming pool is small but it is enough to chill, the best thing I enjoyed in the hotel was the friendly staff , I forgot their names unfrotuantely because of my bad memory, but all of them were very lovely
