This is a beautiful village- time stands still here. Even the very touristy places have delicious food, great prices and wonderful service. It's authentic Greece and you can tell the locals love and care for their town.

Beautiful architecture and scenery! Nevertheless, prices and quality for local products (cheese, smoked meat and wine) are just a bad joke! Luckily, some restaurants are keeping the tradition going and offers authentic and quality food experience!

Very nice village with beautiful center, with a large number of restaurants and souvenir shops. Stunning views of the surrounding mountainous area. For lovers of hiking in nature the "Ursa Trail #4" begins from the village .

Metsovo is a picturesque village in the area of Epirus.
Metsovo is a picturesque village in the area of Epirus. There are many recreational activities you can do there especially hiking, skiing and mountain related stuff. Don’t miss to visit the Averof art gallery with rare paintings from famous Greek artists. Also, as it’s one hour drive to Meteora don’t miss the chance to visit this unique place.

Metsovo is a small village in the mountains used as a skii resort during winter. It reminds me of an Austrian ski resort with wooden framed buildings and colourful plants outside and cobblestone pathways. Very romantic and picturesque. There are hikes and mountain biking trails and day trips to go see. One night was not long enough. The area is renowned for its locally made cheeses and wine, and meat. Also famous for its wooden artifoand homemade textiles

Picturesque village, everything withing walking distance.
Ideal for families, offering a new playground, huge running and playing areas between the trees and next to the mountain view (Averofeios Kipos and the outdoor space of the central church)- however not stroller friendly as the streets are traditionally stone paved.
Withing ~1 hour drive you will find lakes, waterfalls, mountains, walking paths and other traditional villages.
The food, pies, cheeses, wine, tsipouro of Metsovo are a must try! And the prices are fair.
Believe it or not, this “meat” eating village is great for vegetarians as well, you’ll find many delicious and traditional options!
The clean air of Metsovo will refresh you!
So much intact nature though means that you ll also get mosquitoes (in spring and summer) so come prepaired.

The hotel is centrally located, just a couple of minutes off the main square of Metsovo and next to the main sights, restaurants and bars. It is decorated in local mountain style and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We got a very quiet room on the first floor with great mountain views! There is a very nice terrace with mountain views and a small pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast is fantastic, with a great variety of savory and sweet options. Staff is friendly, polite and provided great tips for local activities! Highly recommended!

Such a lovely hotel in Metsovo, with a beautiful view! We made a last minute booking and arrived very late in the evening and the owner was so accommodating and friendly. It’s right on the main road so you can walk everywhere. And they have basement parking. The room was cleaned daily and all the staff were so sweet. Wonderful experience.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel: the hosts were very friendly, the rooms were clean and with a great view, the breakfast was very good. Metsovo is a very nice village and really surprised us. We will definitely come back here.

Different place to stay. Very grand property with quite a bit of history relating to the winery. Plenty of good restaurants in town, walking distance. Breakfast was a feast, the best ever. Bed excellent, room spacious.
