Dassia is a great location to spend time in Corfu.
Dassia is a great location to spend time in Corfu. It is close to the main attractions of the island. One downside are the beaches that are just with pebbles and have very thin shore. A beautiful area with plenty of restaurants and cafés. Dassia Beach is excellent, with clear waters, though less photogenic than the beaches often shown in promotional photos. There are many great beaches within a 25–45 minute drive. Note that most of the famous beaches require a car, and during the season it’s best to arrive early due to limited parking. The town is about 25 minutes from DASSIA (recommended to park near the port, where there are several large parking lots) – from there it’s just a short walk to the Old Town.Guest review byshukiRomania - 10.0

There are very nice bars, cocktail bars and restaurants in Dassia, with very friendly staff. The beach is just average, so it also depends what is our reason for travel. But the proximity of the bus allows us to go both to the north and to the south, as well as to the ferry terminal, Corfu City and the airport. Taxi rates for these distances are around 40 eur. Bus rates are 1.60-2.50 EUR. It is a quiet place with beautiful views, so good for a relaxing holiday.Guest review byAniaPoland - 8.0

It's a nice place, rather quite, but with all the facilities and good connections thanks to the bus number 7 (both to Corfu town, Gouvia and Ipsos) and green bus stop to Aqualand and Palaiokastritsa. Location on the main street was convenient for shops, restaurants and buses (easy to get to Corfu town and beaches around the island). Dassia beach is a short walk. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. The pool area is enjoyable and the gardens are kept beautifully making this hotel feel like a green oasis out the back.
