A pretty little town with cafes, tavernas and great ice cream/dessert places. Just a couple of souvenir/clothes shops and a well stocked supermarket and a smaller mini market. Also a pharmacy. No beach here but a pretty little marina. We ate at Bistrot Cafe and To Limani and I can recommend them both for great food and amazing value. Staff were really friendly. Good selection of good restaurants / tavernas with very reasonable prices. Mani peninsular mixes mountains and the sea so you have walking options and beach options. Different range of beaches from sheltered sandy beaches with lots of sun loungers and beach bars to more remote beaches with fewer people, and a range of small pebbles/sand to stony, most of them with good beach bars! We really enjoyed staying here.
We really enjoyed staying here. Three days was enough and was great to relax following a big hiking tour in Arcadia. The harbour front is small with local fishing boats coming and going. Plenty of really good restaurants to choose from with prices for all budgets. We found it very reasonable to eat out. There is access to the sea from steps down from one of the waterfront tavernas in the village. A short walk around to Pantazi beach has a good restaurant and sun beds. Going the other way is a great 5K trail to Stoupa, a bigger, busier resort with sandy beaches and many restaurants and sunbeds.Guest review byCoralUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The airconditioning kept our room lovely and cool overnight and the location meant it is a very short stroll to the lovely harbour village of Agios Nikolaos with tavernas, bars, shops and beaches. Stefania gave us a bottle of freshly squeezed orange juice which was absolutely delicious.
