The staff was really friendly and made us feel Like at Home. The Place was really clean and the Food was really good and freshly made. Also the Location is Perfect for exploring Cape coast, elmina, Kakum parc or just relaxing at the beautiful and Calm Beach. We would come back again for sure, we loved to stay in afiki. Thank you for everything!

The location is a bit outside Elmina town, but close enough to walk. It also provides a panoramic view of town and castle. The a-la-carte breakfast menu was a pleasant surprise, and food was overall good and tasty. It's a new place which is beautifully furnished and decorated. Our room had a small balcony, which was perfect to watch the sunrise.

This is a really excellent Hotel in a great location. The staff are super friendly and will do anything to help you. There's great facilities on site (e.g. nice pool, restaurant etc) and plenty of tours you can go on also. The food was very good in the restaurant/bar. On one of the evenings the local kids performed some traditional dancing and there was drumming, fire show etc. It was really a great night. If I was coming back to Ghana I will definitely stay here again. Absolutely fantastic.

The staff was all very nice and helpful, we could make requests for dinner and breakfast and our special wishes for a vegetarian diet were taken into account. The food was overall very good. The room where we stayed was charming and calm. There are some school kids of different ages who get to eat dinner at the viallge every evening, who were very funny and tought us how to play the drums and some local dances.

A great location and an interesting idea to have the restaurant overlooking a lake. The islands on the lake are full of birds coming home to roost for the evening offering you a great free show! Crocodiles are also part of the hotel decor! A lovely introduction to our visit to Kakum national park the following day

    The Beach House was an idyllic spot just 20 minutes away...

    The Beach House was an idyllic spot just 20 minutes away from Elmina. It is located in Ankwanda, a small beach village. Frank, Maggie and Mary made our stay so great. Maggie the chef made some of the best dishes using freshly caught fish - every day the food was more and more delicious - the peanut protein shake and any fish dish is recommended. The beach house is literally on the beach, so you can stroll straight onto the beach to go for a swim in the sea or a walk - everyone is super sweet and friendly. Likewise you can just stay on the loungers or one of balconies overlooking the beach and Ankwanda - it's the perfect spot to watch the sun go up and down. The Wi-Fi and electricity worked really well the whole stay. You can walk to Elmina which takes about an hour (but recommend you go early to avoid the hot sun), and getting out and about is relatively easy as taxis know Ankwanda
