Wonderful staff who all made us feel so welcome regardless of walking in the door about 9am direct from Heathrow! Breakfasts were exceptional and beds very comfortable - lovely pillows to ensure we slept well! Location was brilliant for wandering the streets of Eton and Windsor.

The position was fabulous. Pretty position on the river. Bar and restaurant were really good. Staff were friendly. Our room - a deluxe double was a nice size and very comfortable. The pool area was wonderful. Very relaxing. The spa is being renovated. I’m sure that it will be fabulous. Didn’t detract from our visit. Breakfast was fabulous. Lovely omelette made by chef. Other offerings were really good. Price was reasonable. Made use of the complimentary shuttle into Windsor. Very smiley driver. Can’t fault our trip. Would definitely recommend.

    Windsor Castle is fantastic: hundreds of years of history, beauty and pageantry. England at its best. Great walks along the river and in Windsor Great Park. 15 min bus to Legoland. Plenty of bars and cafes in cobbled streets with outside seating. Wonderful.

    We hired a mobility scooter from Shopmobility, wow, fantastic help and service and parking included. Loved Windsor Castle, didn't realise there was so much to see and do. Staff were so helpful in guiding us around. There is access for disabled people and we were really looked after and guided well. Nice coffee shops and ice cream shops. River walks and pub lunches lovely. Be careful of pickpockets! One approached my husband leaning on his scooter and 'resting' whilst checking out our baggage which we had secured very well. (Not a deterrent for us to visit, just be aware)

    Visited for an evening guided tour of Windsor Castle, which was a wonderful 2 hour experience in a group of 30. Main day, we spent mainly in Windsor doing the Queens Walk which is a helpful way of seeing historic Windsor and the Long Walk. August obviously very busy time, so booking , if possible, for restaurants is recommended. We ate over the Thames Bridge in Eton - very good curry at the Golden Curry

    Wow! This is a STUNNING location to visit. You really cannot believe what your eyes are seeing! a MUST visit if you are near London, worth the drive or train over. GREAT venue!!! Well organized and while it was crowded I did not feel smooshed.

    Absolutely go see the castle and I think you need two nights...

    Absolutely go see the castle and I think you need two nights if you really want to get feel of Windsor , A day for Castle (recommended if you can do it on Friday not Saturday when so busy !) A day to just wander around lots of cute shops , restaurants and other places nearby I wish I day seen . Also , cross the bridge to Eaton . So sweet this village

    great place to visit, you dont really need to to go into the castle, lots to see without going to that expense. If you have 2 to 3 hours ....walk 'the long walk' from the gates of windsor to the monument to gKing George3rd on his horse some 2.7 miles in a straight line one way from the gates...and then back again.... 5.4 miles in total... but its a must...very pleaseant with great views when you get there.

    It's a fine place; the room itself was just right, the staff attentive, polite and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. However, I wasn't able to check-in online (the website wouldn't accept my debit card number) and neither was I able to reserve a parking space at Windsor & Eton Riverside rail station as advised (some strangeness with the website). Overall, it was a fine experience. TCWH isn't cheap but then quality hotels never are.

    Everything was wonderful and matched the atmosphere of the town of Windsor itself. The hotel is located on the High Street, just a 12-minute walk to Windsor Castle. Very friendly staff. Convenient parking. Delicious breakfasts. Everything is extremely clean, cosy, and thoughtful for the customer. I rarely give 10 points, but this is exactly the case. Thank you, Christopher Hotel !

    The perfect location for a wonderful weekend away! Windsor and Eton are beautiful old historic towns and Windsor Castle is a fascinating and memorable place to visit. We also took The Long Walk so were able to enjoy the serenity and see some wild deer. The hotel lived up to our expectations ... comfortable with a feeling of luxury.

    I really don’t know why this hotel gets such bad reviews. Yes it is dated but it’s also cheap and the view from the hotel to the castle is incredible. The staff were nothing but amazing when we were there very attentive to my little boys. And she’s with Clay the bathroom is clean and the bed was comfortable for two nights.
