Just loved everything about it. The staff and locals made us feel like family! Their local knowledge of the area was so helpful too. We saw places that we probably would have missed without their advice. Only wished that we could have stayed longer! The rooms, dining area etc were beautifully decorated. Everything was spot on. Nice older style hotel, great location, courteous and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service.

Our room (a family room facing the street) was absolutely beautiful, very spacious, with a wall-full of huge windows letting in lots of light. It was tastefully decorated, clean, with comfortable beds, all the furniture looked new, the room looked recently painted, the dinner and breakfast were excellent, the staff friendly. It was handy having parking facilities. The pictures on Booking.com don’t do it justice. We were expecting it to be run-down and a bit shabby, but although it’s an older building, it’s well taken care of and clean, and quite charming. Bigger than expected.
