Lovely accommodation option in central Reading. Cute interiors. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Very central location. No breakfast, but many cafes around to grab something in the morning. Close to bus stop, shops, train station. I felt at home! I was expecting more noise from the pub downstairs...but it was actually ok

Everything was amazing, starting from the front desk contact with the receptionist, an absolute wonderful chap that explained everything very clearly and was very sociable. We were nominated Guest Of the Day and found a sweets basket in our room, that was very nice of them to consider.

Our room was upgraded to a beautiful and spacious suite. It was very comfortable. We had arrived from overseas so it was nice to have a soak and a nap followed by a delicious dinner. The next morning we enjoyed the amazing breakfast and the staff was accommodating and friendly. They helped us across the street with our bags to the train station—right up to the platform!

    Key arrangements were very poor.... parking very poor with key not working on anti Park bar. Alos wanted more money 20 pounds per child surcharge. Plus 100pounds deposit. Which I didn't pay. These were not mentioned when booking.

    Very run down, unclean streets, overflowing bins on pavements with unbelievable stench, excrement over walkways and rats running freely in the streets and alleyways. The area seems totally neglected. This is not a tourist area or indeed a recommended area to stay. Parking requires permits for both AM & PM stays.
