Thornhamis a great place to stay with the deli and other facilities near by. We ate at the Orange Tree one night good food but a little pricey! Eric’s fish and chips up the road a delicious option for dinner too. Lovely pretty village with good amenities, but no shop, so either ensure you have want you want or go to a nearby super market on route. Lidl at Heacham perfect as on the way in to Thornham.You can also do home delivery. Deli has many products and has daily papers but it is quite expensive. We had breakfast and the staff were fantastic. The lifeboat pub was also good. Grumpy barman but had his retirement the night we had a meal. The pie was delicious. The beach was expansive but no coffee shack or real destination. Very windy so wrap up. But perfect for dogs to run off their energy. There is a lovely meadow next to the village hall. Fantastic accommodation everything was perfect it was very clean spacious and beautiful. The breakfast choice was fantastic and the food 5 star. It was such a nice surprise to get a cream tea on arrival delicious. The little details like toffees in a jar and water every day were a great touch. The hotel, pub, restaurant and staff are extremely dog friendly and our room was very much catered for. The Deli across the road supplies everything you could need and served wonderful food too. It's location is central to local beach's and opposite Thornham deli. It is nicely laid out with three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms.
