A great little area, had a community feel and the people we met were really friendly. Great bars, restaurants, shops etc. Easy to get to other parts of Leicestershire and it is very central to fabulous attractions. Great place for someone / couple to set up a mid to long...
Great place for someone / couple to set up a mid to long term base working away. Self contained so able to mix eat in / out with great local facilities. Warm and cosy once heating issue sorted. Mangal - for good Turkish food although it was cold upstairs - especially frustrating as we had gone out to warm up whilst the flat did too! Had space upstairs Tajal Palace - fantastic indian at great prices - busy but fitted us [unbooked] in on Saturday night with a short wait. Little Brook Cafe - 3mins walk for a greta breakfast - excellent Bacon & Sausages - but all good! 15 mins walk from Syston Rail Station Good sized Costa nearby. The area was lovely, loads of walking routes, well maintained parks and children's play area. Excellent variety of food places, Greggs, Subway, Costa, chip shops, Chinese takeaway and Indian restaurants. Tesco, Wilkinsons and Aldi stores for all suppliea too.Guest review byTover70United Kingdom
