Really beautiful boutique like hotel. Came in at 8pm and the room was all set up perfectly for our family to go straight to bed which was appreciated.

The exterior is a cute 250-year-old building, and the room was simple but spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The Mill's tapas dishes are also rich and fun! The meatball sauce was especially delicious. After the meal, the staff explained to us about The Mill's building, and we were impressed by its 450-year history. Great value for money! We'd like to go again.

It was very clean and comfortable and had everything that you wanted. The kitchen and bathroom were good. The bed was comfy and it was nice and quiet at night. There is off-road driveway parking right outside the property so your car felt secure and it made it easy for unloading and loading. It is in a good location for getting to other places. I was attending an event at Stoke-on-Trent which is about twenty minutes drive away. There is nice countryside and walks nearby. The accommodation is pet friendly. I found it to be a great place to stay and have already booked it again for my next trip for attending an event in Stafford. Highly recommend.

A very charming place. As for a visitor from abroad, you can feel here like in real England. The location of the object is very peaceful and quiet. The facility itself, despite its age, has its own unique charm and is very clean and well-preserved. I can recommend it to everyone and no one should be disappointed with a stay here.

Myself and my daughter went to the Crown Wharf pub in Stone on Saturday night for a meal. Firstly, they had no record of our 8.30pm booking so we were unable to eat there and although they still had an 8.30 slot available they wouldn’t let us have it. Staff member was very young and just said they weren’t serving any more. We decided to stay for a drink and sat outside the entrance. We were surrounded by groups of middle aged men and women who were either commenting on each other’s appearance or trying to hook up! Although we found some of it amusing we both felt uncomfortable and left after the 1 drink. We found that the majority of eateries in Stone stopped serving at 9.30pm at the latest. Quite disappointed really.

I stay at Stone to attend shows at the county showground and the property if perfect for my needs, there is a supermarket on the way in to the area which has everything I would need for a short stay. I don't tend to travel around the area as I need to rest after a long day and overnight drive from the south Coast. I believe the area is within distance of quite a few attractions and is an ideal base. I have used the town and had an Indian meal out with friends in the past, which was very enjoyable. I intend to return again and enjoyed my stay.

The location was excellent and just a short hop skip and jump from the M6 making it a great place to stop off en route before going further north. The owner met us and was fantastic. The decor of the hotel was contemporary, modern and we loved it. The area was quiet and quite beautiful. We enjoyed walking into Stone which turned out to be a very attractive market town with a great pedestrianised high street. Weatherspoons pub at top of the town was fab for a place to chill. Simply couldn't fault it.

Perfect location for us; a family visit to Alton Towers. We were all hugely impressed with the accommodation. We debated whether to stay at The Alton Towers hotel but opted for The Chapel- adults and two children all agreed that this was the best choice (and we love the Alton towers hotel!) Beautiful, clean with attention to detail. Everything has been considered. I would highly recommend and we would stay again.

Perfect location for my customer meeting in Uttoxeter. Great location for the whole of that area of Staffordshire, and not far off the motorway. Stayed in the studio which was both spacious and clean. Little kitchen with everything you need if staying for a few days. Hosts were fantastic and the breakfast was great. Shame I was only there for the night before disappearing off to my appointment really.
