The property was nicely situated with lovely views however there were no pubs within walking distance so we had to plan our evenings out. Great springboard to give access to lots of historic places. Fantastic views of the Tyne Valley from cottage. Handy pub at the blue bell inn 50 yards from cottage now serving food and eating inside !
