It was perfect, we travelled from Germany and it was worth it.A lovely little house big enough for 4 grown ups a very quiet road .Comfortable beds the kitchen had all we needed for our stay and the garden was super we spent an hour or so each day reading and watching the birds.Add to that the location just a few minutes to the beach and round the north Norfolk Coast, brilliant.We thank Theresa and her husband for a great holiday.

Very clean, modern, lovely outdoor seating area, very private. The staff were very kind and friendly, and the bottle of welcoming Prosecco was an add bonus. The lady in the reception went above and beyond to help us. Very close to the sea, easy access to the surrounding area. We have all agreed we will be back next year.

Evening meals were plentiful and very delicious. Liked there was a bathmat and a fan provided. Had neither at 2 previous Hotels stayed in so had to use 1 of the hand towels. Very quiet even though the room was at the back of the Pub. Location was awesome, close to everywhere I wanted to visit. Goats and bunnies very cute.

The cottage was in a good location, clean and comfortable. The owners have clearly gone to a lot of trouble to provide crockery and tableware with duck motifs, and other woodland creatures, in keeping with the name of the property. Clear instructions were given where necessary, and the owners responded swiftly to any emails. We would certainly stay there again.

A well thought through recent refurbishment with an attention to detail. Amazing standard of comfort. The best quality accommodation we have experienced on a month trip around UK. We also stayed in the Walpole room for 2 nights and unlike previous reviewer we had no issue with noise from downstairs or outside. Rather we enjoyed looking out to green fields and stunning sunsets. Dinner was absolutely lovely too. Recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful setting, excellent cooking. There was a wide choice of dishes in the evening and the vegetables were well cooked - al dente and not too soft. I could get soya milk for breakfast, which was good. The staff was friendly and the room spacious and immaculate. I wish I could have stayed longer.

beautiful location. Welcoming staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. The breakfast was tasty, and nice to be able to order from a selection of hot cooked to order options. The room was warm and cosy when I checked in with the heating on which was nice. My room had a newly renovated bathroom with a powerful shower. Clean and enjoyable stay.

    Village is central for Sandringham, Hunstanton, Old Hustanton, and within comfortable driving distance of Fakenham and all of the North Norfolk towns/villages. Local beaches, e.g. Snettisham, Heacham, Hunstanton, Old Hunstanton all within a few minutes drive, but not within comfortable walking distance. Local minor roads can be narrow - care required!!

    RSPB Snettisham is wonderful - we saw lots of species and...

    RSPB Snettisham is wonderful - we saw lots of species and heard turtle doves. We also loved the village centre, especially food at The Old Store. Snettisham was a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Don't miss the deer safari at Snettisham Park.

    Quiet village but with good bus links to both King's Lynn...

    Quiet village but with good bus links to both King's Lynn and Hunstanton. You can travel further round the north Norfolk coast on bus 36 the Coastliner - this makes walking exploration easier without driving. There are two pubs and a good local Co-op.

    Snettisham is a ideal center for NW Norfolk with Kings Lynn...

    Snettisham is a ideal center for NW Norfolk with Kings Lynn , Hunstatton ans Sandringham all in easy reach. The Dear Park at Snettisham is a must for children (Young and old!) If you are into bird watching there are a number of RSPB sites. Cromer is about 30 miles.

    Snettisham is a village which is easy to get around with...

    Snettisham is a village which is easy to get around with some lovely shops well within walking distance, a couple of lovely pubs, chemist, doctors, vets and DIY store. Park Farm is worth a trip to feed the animals and to buy farm produce. There is also a lovely hairdressers for the ladies in fact everything you would want for your daily needs. If you require a weekly shop you will have to travel to Kings Lynn or towards Hunstanton.

    Location was excellent, right on Snettisham Park Farm with walks, cafe and farm on the doorstep. It was only a five minute walk to the village which had a local co-op, pubs and a restaurant that featured in the Michelin guide.. The nearest beach/ nature reserve were a 2.5 mile walk/ drive away. The accommodation was clean and modern with anything we needed for our stay. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the bed was large and comfortable.

    Location is perfect. The rooms are nice and private with allocation to a lovely beer garden. He pub is very welcoming. Snettisham itself has lovely pubs and a cafe, then only a short drive to beautiful beaches
