The staff who serve at the bar and food halls are good. The rest walk around ignoring you. There is no phone charging points in the bedrooms. Staff nice & food okay, but had to pay to use the pool!!! Didn't know this & if I did I wouldn't of booked. Hotel is dated inside & our superior room which we paid extra for wasn't the best & would of said it was a standard room. Very friendly staff, swimming pool and facilities very well kept and the kids loved it. The only down side was the restaurant/bar area had only 2 members of staff and was fairly busy, long waiting for the order and then the food came out at long distance as we were 4 adults and 3 kids we couldn't have dinner all together. Shedfield appears to be a just a main road with an estate and a few houses. Wickham down the road is very pretty - a co op, chip shop, takeaways. But central location for all the popular local attractions - Portsmouth, Southampton, Beaulieu, Chichester. You would need a car to stay here.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom

It's far enough away for it to be quiet, but close enough that you can walk there in five minutes and enjoy the festival with a comfortable, quiet night at the end of the day. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and good quality. There's loads of parking. The room was quiet.
