Absolutely everything!! The building itself is exceptional, the rooms are beautiful, she water pressure in the showers is top notch, the food was divine, the open fire places in the lounges were beautifully lit in the evenings, and as for the service, wow!!! We can highly recommend this hotel!!!

The Stonehouse Hotel was a sight for sore eyes, (a pleasant surprise) after walking 5 1/2 hours on the Costwold Way. We loved the hotel, the grounds and our room. We also found the staff, specifically the young man checking us in (sorry didn't catch his name), a waitress named Asuka, and the bartender Yaughtski. Hopefully we spelled that right. Lol. Yaughtski without a doubt made our stay welcoming and fun.

Definitely a dog freindly hotel, nice walk around the hotel aswell as bins outisde to put dog waste in. Bar area was dog freindly and comfortable. Room was clean and provided AC. Only downside was it costing £15 to have the dog when there was nothing special provided just limitations to where we could go.

Hidden gem. Lovely hotel in great setting. Room lovely and spacious. Staff wonderful. Hotel owner took time out to show us all the photos of the history of the hotel which was fascinating. Food excellent, plenty of choice. Cannot wait to stay again. 5 minute drive from the m5 yet lovely and peaceful

A hidden quirky gem of a stay. Imagine being sent back in time to stay with posh relatives in the country. Communal rooms for dining and socialising with afternoon cakes and fruit to help yourself. I spent hours chatting to fellow guests in the library and dining room. Superb grounds and views with lots of parking. An intrepid walk through the grounds into Stroud. Odd little bedroom reminicent of boarding school.
