The hotel was excellent and the staff very efficient and obliging. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing. The food was very good. It was a short walk into the centre and there were car parks nearby. On the whole it was a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic location and nice rooms. The staff was super welcoming to our dogs and us. We had a great vegan breakfast in the lobby in the company of our dogs. We would love to visit. Chester again. Great city, fabulous hotel 😁

What a beautiful hotel. So close to everything and Tracy couldn't of been more welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, cosy and relaxing. I will definitely be back to Chester and will be staying here again!

Very comfortable room, nicely decorated and peaceful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in a few hours early even though they had warned us that might not be possible. The breakfast was excellent.

Lovely room with excellent sound insulation and comfortable bed. Everything provided (one small exception… magnifying mirror in bathroom for short-sighted people 😀). Nice reception, bar and breakfast area. Pleasant and helpful staff.

I had to go to the airport in Liverpool very early in the morning and this place was at a great location for that purpose - arrived at the airport in less than half an hour by car. The room was very comfy, also the restaurant was very nice for dinner. It was all very easy and the staff was very friendly. All very clean and welcoming. I got the room for a great price - way cheaper than everything comparable in the area.

    The Hotel is defo worth a stop-over.

    The Hotel is defo worth a stop-over. Whether you eat in Nelsons or The Palm Court the Food is excellent and `fits` all budgets . The Breakfast is `top-notch` and sets you up for the Day. All of the Staff seem happy, there`s a Good Morning to all, and all done with a nice smile. We`ll definitely be returning. Oh, well done to all. Looking forward to stopping over again.

    A very lovely hotel set in a little Cheshire village, a jewel in the beautiful countryside. A couple of Weddings were on the weekend we visited. A fantastic venue! Visit Chester, its a great Town.

    Great hotel. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Both resuarants were of a night standard. Rooms were very clean seeing as it was pet friendly. Pool was nice although dressing rooms were a bit tired. The room was possibly haunted.

    Fantastic service from beginning to end. Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities - the food was amazing as were the spa facilities and the cleanliness was second to none. I have already booked again. Fabulous weekend!

    Beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds.

    Beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds. Smart and opulent interior with grand fireplace and decor. Bedroom was large with clean fresh en-suite. Breakfast in the Palm Court was superb freshly prepared and plentiful. Excellent hotel and restaurant staff service.

    Great pet friendly hotel in good location.

    Great pet friendly hotel in good location. Comfy beds and nice rooms. Good spa facilities and nice bar for lunch and evening meal. Breakfast was a little limited as the food wasn’t refreshed but think this was due to a lack of staff. Check out was slow but there was an issue with other customers that caused the delay. Would stay again as fabulous for dogs.

    The hotel was absolutely beautiful. So many different things to see inside, the leisure facilities were absolutely amazing and the out door seating area in the sun made it for us ! I requested my room to be decorated for my partners birthday, and they did an absolutely amazing job. Their communication was incredible, they made it so special for me and my partner and I would 100% recommend to anyone as I would definitely stay here again !! Thank you so much

    An impressive hotel -- looked good and felt good -- with nice mixture of tradition and modern features. We particularly liked the Japanese garden, with its ponds, fountains and carp. The staff were very friendly and the room was well-equipped, clean and quiet. The food, both at dinner and breakfast was excellent.

From reception staff, the waiting staff and those working in the spa, and from our first interactions via email until we left, everyone’s focus was on helping us have the best experience.
