It was a lovely historic property, slightly out of town in peaceful surroundings. We loved the neighbouring sheep and the pretty walk into town. The managers were very accommodating and my husband was a big fan of the extensive whisky bar.

A pleasant little town. Plenty of good walks in the area. Could visit without a car and find it very pleasant. The dam and visitor centre are worth seeing. The Festival Theatre is excellent and the “Enchanted Forest” light and music experience in October and early November is not to be missed.

Pitlochry is a beautiful Highland Perthshire town surrounded by lovely countryside and hills. It's an excellent centre for walking and cycling, while its Festival Theatre has a programme of performances throughout the year. It's a place my family and I have visited many times over the years. We were there at the time of the annual Enchanted Forest event (though didn't attend) - and impressive light and sound show in the middle of a forest, which is particularly great for children.

A beautiful accessible little town.

A beautiful accessible little town. Fabulous independant shops and restaurants. Pitlochry is gorgeous all year round but particularly in the Autumn. Locals are very welcoming. A wee visit to the gorgeous St Brides RC chapel is recommended. And the Seafood Linguine in the Auld Smiddy is to die for. Thanks to everyone who made our stay special 🧡

Pitlochry is a beautiful town, but now so many visitors you cannot get in any restaurants unless booked in advance and walking on the street is hazardous for anyone with mobility issues as you have to keep trying to avoid people not looking where they are going.

We are regular visitors to this wonderful town and lucky enough to have experienced fantastic weather on the last three occasions. Very challenging putting green and well worth a visit. We had a fantastic meal at Fern Cottage and the cafe at the Hydro Dam has great views.

The Fishers Hotel is in the best location in Pitlochry and the staff are always pleasant and polite. We have stayed there several times and in various different rooms. My only complaint on this occasion was that the family room we were given was very small for a family room. Otherwise, great hotel with lovely clean rooms and a great choice at the buffet breakfast. Room service was excellent and the restaurant staff very attentive

This is our 5th or 6th time staying at Craigvrack. Every time we receive the same fantastic experience. Lovely friendly staff, comfy room, and a delicious breakfast. We always book a sit-down meal for the indian restaurant. The food is amazing. Best Indian food we have ever tasted. The restaurant and bar areas have recently been refurbished. This hotel is a lovely 10/15 minute stroll into Pitlochry village.

Hotel was very nice. Traditional and full of character, which I like. Roaring log fires - big tick in chilly January. Room was spacious and comfortable. The gardens looked lovely and were one of the reasons we picked Pine Trees, but we ran out of time to explore them properly. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel is not far from Pitlochry main street, so easy to leave the car there and walk down.

The hotel is located in a quiet area but still very accessible for the Main Street in Pitlochry. Bonus is on site parking with no extra cost. The swimming pool is small but a pleasant swim after a days walking. All staff encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Very comfortable bed.
